Second: I was surprised when B-4 popped up in my Excel doc as a variant of Data. Anyone know if that is legit based on a previous event, or did I make a mistake when entering him in?
B-4 should be his own unique individual. Doubt he gets a bonus.
B-4 contains Data's consciousness right? So while not yet revealed as such, Data is in there somewhere.
My first expedition events, my crew was small enough that even the 1, 2, and 3 star bonus crew helped me a lot. Their skills were no better than some of my non-bonus crew, but they didn't fatigue as much, so they held value. They allowed me to use my other crew on higher levels.
I generally save campaign and monthly card dilithium for crew slot sales, so I have no shortage of crew this event. But if you are new, don't automatically disregard the low level bonus crew the way most of us veterans do.
So this expedition flashback will follow the same rules that applied the last time we ran an expedition event (hybrid event Auld Lang Syne) - meaning no timer on a ticket and no RNG when criting a VP node.
As for the rewards structure, this flashback was adapted to be in line with what has been done in events recently.

But how do we get tickets
You are given an allotment of tickets each day, in addition to tickets being threshold rewards.

You get tickets (3, I think) at the daily reset. There are also tickets in threshold rewards and available for purchase with dilithium.
In the ranked rewards , we should have gotten 4 professors or 4 datas instead of ANOTHER 4 laforge's.
DB missed a perfect opportunity to be nice to its players.
I’m sure this has been mentioned, but their cosplay clothes weren’t holographic. They wear them off the Holodecks in multiple episodes. They arrived in costume.
I played half the first ticket and have yet to use a bonus crew. Only 500 needed for highest on epic. I, personally, will have no issues at all. I feel for VIP0 and new people with few crew slots.
man i've forgotten how much i missed these!! so many things we don't get to do for any other event type, like:
-getting to use your ENTIRE roster including guys you've forgotten about, like 2* data for the easy nodes or 3* geordi for the medium ones
- having to figure out who has exactly the right combo of skills and traits to hit certain nodes, and then remembering to sub them out once it's cleared
- not having to use chrons on daily away missions so, at least in theory, those who are short on chrons only have to spend 30 (with a kit running) each day on space missions to hit all of the dailies
- supply kits DO give extra credits for expedition missions for those of us who are constantly credit poor
- the NEW SORTING so you can search for data or laforge
- doc geordi being an MVP for those MED nodes, almost making up for what a hard build he was
and best of all, everybody getting XP every time if you left them at level 99
Indeed they do, which is why the COM node with a rare reward in the fifth mission is frustrating - none of the event crew have that skill. In retrospect, I wonder if that is the reason Captain La Forge was this week’s LTO, a way of pre-apologizing for the hard cap on VP from this node.

David ... use bonus crew to CRIT nodes!!! You get way more VP. On the low levels just you alan-a-dale etc. and ONLY use them for the star-node ... let the expendable (non-bonus) crew handle the rest.
Just as an indicator ... got over 50k VP for a complete first run. It is more difficult to get max VP because you need to start at the lowest level ... from now I can work backwards so can make sure Doc La Forge can hit all the MED nodes.
... and this is one of the best events for VIP0 players who are willing to grind it out.

I think they left out "Ranked rewards will be sent out at the end of the event."

Return them. I sent out seven Shuttles before nine, and then set up my Voyage with lower Stats, to make two or three Dilemmas.
I can't see any info I the thread
It's only my opinion but....
They do not expire.
Thanks
