I buy the logic. Naomi was a child that would have basically had whatever education they could give her on the ship. Icheb was a former borg drone with advanced knowledge and skills even as a teenager. Plus Naomi was a launch character, and power creep, etc.
Meanwhile where is her mother? There’s a future 3* if I ever saw one.

People complain that 5* Icheb showed up.
People say that Mirror Burnham should have been the Legendary, instead.
Not sure which is funnier, considering how many people complain when we get ANY Disco Crew......
I think that Mirror Burnham would be justified as 5*. It's just funny how things changed in three days.....
I just hope we are getting a 4* Burn'Em for the Arena. To go along with First Officer Burn'Em on the Legendary Ships.

People complain that 5* Icheb showed up.
People say that Mirror Burnham should have been the Legendary, instead.
Not sure which is funnier, considering how many people complain when we get ANY Disco Crew.......
It is amusing isn't it. Every time it is the same routine. This new 'Picard show" thing has been especially entertaining. Everybody has their stock of mystic crystal balls out to state what DB will do next. LOL (So far the seers are batting zero)
I think there should be a standardized 'fill-in-the-blank' prediction form ... followed the next week by another 'fill-in-the-blank' complaint form! Think of how much work it would save!
Much more entertaining even than reading a Dear Abby column or watching CNN broadcasts!
Remember: it's just a game, not a matter of life and death!

2) We've had two skirmishes in three weeks to farm galaxy event items.
3) With all those resources floating around, the prize is Icheb.

Anyone got a guess about how this will play out?
I reckon Icheb's overall power will play a huge role. He's not energizing too many people as a character, but if he becomes the new top Voyager/top SCI/ENG base/has a killer ship skill, that could be a recipe for another bloodbath.
Since it's a hybrid, personally I won't be touching my boosts outside of the quick start, just in case I need them for a pure faction.
1) I'll probably save most of my boosts for week 4 ... looking to get my hands on the flashback 5* ... so just the standard ramp-up time boosts, won't use rental tokens at all and use the standard 3* skill boosts.
2) The weekend right after is a full galaxy ... blow everything now and it will be more difficult to get your hands on the week 4 5* during week 3 event, who will undoubtedly be more useful, seeing as week 4 is Faction.
3) Sorta hoping Icheb will be a 2-skiller ... make him a little less appealing.
I'll be doing the bare minimum this week ... Thresholds and will try for top 1500 if it doesn't look too crazy, but I'm hoping around 600-700k will do it ... then to kinda go for it the last two weeks and at least make top 1500, if not top 1000.
It will probably depend on stats but I'm also not that fussed with this Icheb once I have had a chance to open my stockpiled shuttle packs I will assess the situation. But honestly the skirmish kind of took it out of me this week.

You know the reward will be for a re-run or flashback right? Is that the basket you want to put your eggs in?
There will also be a galaxy event in between which I will use to restock my boosts. I won't be stingy on the shuttles in the hybrid. But that's just me.
My Thursday is going to be ultra-busy with work and I doubt I will be able to properly kickstart until six to eight hours in...plus, Icheb is a great character but this version does nothing for me. Not to mention that I have no interest in the Galaxy half of the event. So...yes, I will be taking off on this event as well.
As for the ranked reward in week 4, it really depends on what event it’s going to be. Looking through my list of 3/5* and 4/5* crew, I would be quite happy to see Mistress of the Mirror (Emperor Georgiou), Gods and Masters (Durango Troi), or Mind and Matter (Captain Pike), but nearly any event featuring a 5* crew I already have but have not FF’d would be welcome. If it’s someone I don’t have and/or don’t need, then I will end up coasting to a top-3000 finish instead.
I don't buy event packs for galaxy or hybrid-galaxy events, so I don't go for the 5* ranked reward the week prior, as a way to manage my 1/5 crew capacity. I didn't get Seven last week and won't be going for Icheb this week. Since I already have 2 copies of Stranded Odo immortalized, I'm not worried about ranking and only care about clearing thresholds this event, which should require extremely limited participation in the galaxy portion this weekend!
