The problem is T’Pols bases are quite poor though. I only thawed out what I felt I needed and I’m glad I got it more or less spot on just needed tactical burnham to re place m. de neuf in a sec seat and I’ve got a good optimum to run five shuttles could probably stretch it out to six but I don’t want use too many tokens.

I wish there were more eng+sci slots in this event.

Yeah DB's game designers could put a little more thought into shuttle seats, it's an astrophysicist mega and a majority of slots are some variation of cmd/dip/sec. Over two thirds of the roster is sci/eng, sci/dip, sci/sec and sci/cmd, which means that my Odos are seeing more action than anyone else. I'm also using tactical and fugitive Burnham instead of all my T'pols, Spocks and Jadzias. I guess you need guns and not telescopes to be a good astrophysicist in the 23rd century.

Yep. And my 1/5 seven I worked so hard to get in the skirmish event is not helping much at all.

I’ve been putting her in a eng sci slot and Cheesecake in the med slot.

My top 3 Eng-Sci crew (or Sci-Eng) are 1/5 Annika, FF Proto Barclay, and FF Laborer Spock, in that order. Spock rocks that combo but he isn't getting on my top four shuttles. He'll be on an overnight rental, but it's kind of unfortunate that so many Eng-Sci crew are effectively unused with these mission seats.

For the 81 total mission seats, 7 use the ENG-SCI combination, of which 2 are on 3-seat shuttles. I am choosing to spend merits to run only the 3-seat shuttles, so I do see your point.
    🖖
EDIT: Looking only at the first “AND” skill listed (nods to @Banjo1012 ) & counting “OR” seats by halves, the skills breakdown for all 81 seats is as follows:

    CMD 20, DIP 12.5, SEC 12, ENG 14.5, MED 3, SCI 19

Well Burn'Em did give away her inherited telescope. But she always had a phaser handy........

  • It occurred to me that this week's 3*, Dr. Reyga, was his. They were both in the game at launch. Here are the remaining launch crew yet to be appear in an event. I've noted (Daily) for crew who have been serialized in the daily rewards, and (Fuse) for crew who can be used to make a fuse card.
    2*
    Cadet Sito Jaxa
    Ensign Seska
    First Maje Haron
    Lt. Naomi Wildman
    Nurse Kes

    3*
    B'Etor Duras (Daily) (Fuse)
    Commander Kruge
    Donik
    First Maje Culluh
    Lursa Duras (Daily) (Fuse)
    Morn
    Third Remata'Klan

    4*
    Commander T'Pol
    Dr. Crusher
    Feezal Phlox
    Fencing Sulu
    Holonovel Doctor (Daily) (Fuse)
    Maquis Eddington
    Mirror Archer
    Mirror Ezri Tigan
    Mirror Sisko
    Nexus Kirk

Curiously, two of the remaining 2* (Cadet Sito Jaxa and Ensign Seska) were members of the original Riker's Angels, and Lt. Naomi Wildman was an alternate. They're not as essential as they once were, partly because we can warp 3-starred cadet challenges now, and partly because there have been subsequently added alternatives (Festive Jadzia Dax, Injured Torres, Science Officer T'Pol). Still, their omission after four years is conspicuous.

What's incredible is some of those 4* are so weak that after playing from the start I still don't have them FF because I end up airlocking the 1/4 every time before getting enough copies to be worth holding onto.

I reached the point a couple of years ago where I started keeping them partly just to have something to do between events. I'm almost out of those to fuss with by now, though. That's a contributing factor to my ennui.

So I suspect this week will be relatively light - with those stats, Icheb is nothing to write home about. #62 Voyager and barely ekes into the Top 10 for SCI base. Unless you really need a SCI/ENG/SEC Voyager...seems like an easy pass.

Hope that makes for an easier top 1,500 for me. Prime Lorca's prediction for top 1,500 this week is 587k VP.

Disclaimer: my advice this week has been crap. Use this number at your own peril.

Pretty sure top 1,500 is going to pass my crummy prediction by a fair margin. :(

I decided I want one as I plan to buy a bunch of wrap-up packs and it would really hurt to pull him there and not having won one. But in fact I hope to pull someone else instead (e.g. Seven or Worf, no matter his stats). Icheb as such is not highly tempting to me and if it was not for the mega I would have done nothing after 655k from the Faction.

At the moment, 722k VP gets you 1306 ... more than I thought I'd have to earn, but hey ... on to next week.

EDIT: and I just dropped 30 spots while writing the above sentence.

EDIT2: well ... ended 1316 ... but was dropping like a stone so built a few more, which included a super-rare hand-in ... again, more than I expected.
  • I forgot to turn in my Special items. Had over 1,100.

Fortunately, still was high enough to get Icheb. Wonder where I would've ranked...

Hold onto those in case there is a rerun of the event and then you can turn those in at the end with the others you get that event and get a crazy high rank.

I still have 2500+ specials I waited too late to get turned in during a galaxy event sitting in my inventory. I placed top 15 in that event could’ve easily gotten a 4th copy of Jett Reno if not for that blunder. I feel your pain.
  • That is way I always turn mine in at the beginning of the second phase, and constantly throughout the second phase.
