Hello everyone, good news is that we now have a date for our next WRG Q&A! On March 23rd we will graced with the presence of WRG Ben to answer community questions and give updates on the games development!
You can submit questions in our re-opened wrg-questions room on the Discord or post them in this thread. Or if you want to be anonymous you can also email them to TimelinesTalks@gmail.com. Question closing date will be the 3rd March so get them in before then!
In other news, we have a date for our Charity Event! It will be happening on April 3rd running from 17:00 GMT/12:00 EST! Mark that in your diaries and keep an eye on this channel for exciting updates!
Nice! I guess you won't be able to get to all questions, but here are some that I've been wondering about:
* How many full-time programmers work on the game?
* Do programmers need to do actual coding for events or new characters, or is it just a matter of loading up "input files" from the designers?
* Do you have automated tests?
* In designing the game, what do you consider the main motivation for veteran players in getting new characters, other than collecting for the sake of collecting (if that is a factor)?
* Do you think events should be fun "in themselves", as a pure gaming experience, or do you see it as something players should only do for the rewards?
* Do you have any plans for changing existing events? For example to require less hours of grinding to rank.
* How long would you guess the game will keep running?
(I know, I know, they'll probably not aswer the last one... But mobile games don't typically last forever, and it feels like we're winding down...) Feel free to rephrase or shorten any of these, if you like.
Just a reminder we're live tonight with the WRG Q&A! 15:30 EST/20:30 GMT.
Also we're very happy to announce our Charity Stream will be happening on April 3rd! We've got a lot of entertainment packed including the WRG folks coming on for another group chat!
Also I'm very excited to announce that Noah AK (aka Ryn from Discovery S3) will be joining us for an interview! Some of our subs have submitted questions for him and we're really looking forward to chatting Trek with him!
Not only that, but we have a ton of games to give away aaaand for those who play Star Trek Online, we have a bunch of STO codes to give away too! It's going to be a great day, really can't wait!
All segments timestamped, individual segment videos will be on the channel later today.

Is there any way we can do away with the “pick the right crew” Check for autobots. It is nothing but an annoyance. And it doesn’t work. You can see in leaderboards that there are players using autobots that can clearly get around this check. I have talked to people who have told me that there is an AI professor that is programming these bots and sharing them with the top fleets. I know people who are doing this. I don’t and I am an active and fast player in the game so I get these checks frequently and they are very annoying. Please remove them from the game
