Ok so just so I can comment I tried an offer on iOS and android
What a waste of my time.
Although the Android offers look better less make a purchase type and more play this type.
They are both rubbish.
Taking me away from my beloved STTL
Remember less than a week ago, when TP did an incredible Offer for Dilithium/Intel/Chronitons for $4.99?!?!?
Going to this in less than a week is like watching a great movie, with Scarlet Johansson playing the female lead. And then suddenly halfway through the movie, Bill Engval starts playing her.......

Forum: It'll be scam and span...
TP: Wait! Wait! It's not live yet! You'll see!
(fast forward 24 hours)
TP: It's live, lookee here!
Forum: Errrmmm... It's all scam and spam?
I spent 30 seconds on it, rolled my eyes and doubt it'll ever get clicked on again, certainly not with an eye to use.
It's a bad feature, and makes TP/WRG and Timelines look open to scammers and data miners for some dil.
Just from a perception of the game and company, I'd suggest extracting, killing it with fire and pink slipping the genius who thought it'd be a good idea.
I tried to use the offer wall and was only frustrated
Tried to do a survey and did a 5 min survey to link me with other surveys. Spent another 5-10 mins on that survey just to be kicked off saying this survey is not compatible with you and got no rewards. I won’t be revisiting the wall again
The sad part is that they undoubtedly dedicated lots of man hours into coding to incorporate this change.
All while other big issues “are not a priority”.
There is a thing called the gambler’s fallacy. I am glad that I understand it, because at this point, the direction the game is taking is not very exciting to me. I’ll be keeping a close eye on new developments and I have zero issues with hitting the eject button.
Looks a lot like what I've seen in the WGT Golf game. (A very good game, btw.) But the types of offers look very similar. Surveys are generally the best, although when I did those offers way back when, some of them wanted your home address, phone number, etc., so I just avoided those particular ones. Others only needed your email, and it's easy enough to just give a burner email. And although I've never done them myself, the "install and play this other game to this level" or "spend money in this other game" offers I'm sure get plenty of takers, as they may be games that players might be interested in playing anyway.
As I mentioned previously, however, I honestly don't think the vast majority of people who visit this forum will be interested in The Wall. But it's also not going to affect you in any way whatsoever if you don't want it to (other than that issue that SilverRose brought up, which I'm guessing will now be a priority to fix soon). So, sure, take a gander if you're curious... but if you find it's not anything that appeals to you, may as well just go about your normal gameplay and let the folks who actually do have interest in these offers have at it.
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing. ~ Data, ST:TNG "Haven"
Thank you to those who have posted here and tried this “addition to the game”. Based on what I’ve seen here, it’s exactly what I’ve seen and attempted in other games with the same results. I’m not even going to touch that button, hopefully in time dust from non use will make this just a bad memory and we can get legitimate ways to earn more dil.
It reminds me of this scenario...Hmm I see the clams are on special nearly 75% off the normal price, either you had an error in ordering and were sent too many or the cooler went out for 24 hours and now you need to clean out the stock.. Tough decision I love clams and that price is a steal..what the heck you only live once bring on those clams..yummy.

Perhaps. But it seems to me like the developers could have used the time it took to broker this deal, incorporate the menu, etc. and instead fix some of the bigger issues with this game.
But yes, you have a good point. Let them waste time and resources on finding ways to incorporate predatory/buggy offers. Lets just ignore those, the same way they ignore bigger issues that are brought to their attention. Sounds like a great way to ensure that the game lasts forever.
I suggest let's let it run for awhile and if it doesn't work out (which I don't think it will due to possible issues with no one getting their dils) then TP can remove it. I see just a small handful of players that might try it. But it looks like the mass majority won't. So let it run its course. I do think TP is trying to do something different, and that is a good thing. So it probably won't work out. At least they are trying.

I echo that I'm glad there are new elements being brought into the game. This particular one appears to be scammy or a time sink so I'm not going to touch it.
Well, so far I've saved children, wildlife, Appalachia, bought some bath bombs, signed up for Disney+, a wine club, and a meal delivery service. I'm truly embracing the meaning of VIP0 now by choosing the highest value, real money offers. Too bad I'm only getting the dil for half of them. Guess I can cancel those AMAZING VALUE keto vitamins.
I know I'm in the minority, but I actually like it. There are certainly plenty of offers I have no interest in. But I've done a few, and picked up a couple hundred Dil so far today. The best are the games I can install on an old tablet, and then let the kids play.
Well done on making it very discreet. Please don't put it front and centre or provide us with upteen notifications to direct us to it. I'm very happy I can fully ignore it as it's not my cup of tea. The Wall might appeal to others and I hope you spend your dill wisely.
Well, in interest of fair honesty, I went ahead and downloaded the Coin Sweeper game. Installed it and opened it. Which was the whole "task". 44 Dilithium was in my mailbox when STT reopened. Tried that one as a test, because I do sometimes play the Coin Sweeper at a carnival or lawn party.
"The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself."
I decided not to comment until I tested it. The first one I tried sent me to a disabled page. The second one I clicked on froze my iPad. I had to do a hard reboot to clear whatever whatever dumpster fire of a black screen webpage the link took me to. I will not be doing any further exploration in this “free” dilithium garbage.
I remember some of those links from 20 years ago. Like the McDonald’s “offer”. Please tell our new overlords to fire time loop mudd as their competency officer
Complete garbage, all of it. I tried one just to see if it would actually deliver. Clicking ONE offer, going to the corresponding web page, clicking the ONE thing it said I needed to click – it opened up 16 tabs of different web pages with all kinds of...more garbage. Nowhere was the continuation to receive the actual reward to be found.
I wouldn't spend my already limited time filling out a survey, to be taken to another survey, etc., just for like 40-50 Dils. If I had a vote, I would say "Tear Down The Wall!"
This is the worst example of this I’ve seen to be honest. Clicked on a few - and I dread to think what kind of malware might have got into my phone. They’re clearly fake offers and just spam to get details. For some reason I thought better of this company. The quality of the game, of customer service etc has always been great. This is a really disappointing addition that puts players at risk for little benefit. Think I may well be done putting money into this game.
On the bit when you click off it and it says about offerings paying up in a few days - I clicked on more info - the page was blocked by my broadband provider due to it being seen as a phishing and malware site. Sad to say but after 3 years, VIP 14 and captain level 99 this is getting me checked out now. Shameful
I looked at the offer wall. My initial impression was that there was nothing from real companies, all borderline scammy / opportunistic looking offers that, at best, were designed to harvest my personal data.
Tried "take a survey". Answered a bunch of demographic questions to set up my survey profile, such as my birth year, marital status, number of children, employment industry, annual income, and zip code, which I considered reasonable questions for demographic aggregation.
Got sent to an actual survey at a different website. Was asked a bunch of questions about my business ostensibly to gauge COVID-19 effects before being told "sorry, this survey is not a good match". Got sent to a second survey. Same thing, "not a good match" after answering some questions. Got sent to a third survey. Was asked for my actual date of birth.
BZZZT. Thanks for playing. This is personally identifiable information. And why am I being asked to complete a fourth questionnaire when I was supposed to take *A* survey?
I tried to use the offer wall and was only frustrated

The same happened to me after I refused to share my income. 10 minutes of very questionable questions (income, car brands, date of birth, ZIP code), and now they are in a weird status.
I managed to finish the one in the bottom, it broke the game though (blackscreen).
Overall not worth the time investment.

It's only my opinion but....
Same. I don't want all these apps on my phone and survey just screams spam marketing.
I am a pretty easy going person and simple to please. TP should be ashamed of themselves.

I will collect Suspiria 4/5 and then delete this game for good.
