For the first time in a couple of month's I got a needed crew from a Voyage: One Zero. My threshold pull from the event gave me a Zero One (already had one sitting at 3/4). My JohnBynars are sitting at 3/5 now. More importantly it clears up some roster space.
I crap on gauntlet often, and agree with sentiments expressed in other threads that Quipment has only caused the gauntlet to become even more unplayable. I haven't won a gauntlet-exclusive crew in months, despite regular top-10 finishes and long streaks, though I understand the gauntlet can be fickle and streaky.
Having said that, I need to repay gauntlet karma because I just had the greatest 5 minutes of gauntlet in six years of playing. In the last 5 minutes before the end of my gauntlet I got a 30-streak behold (1st copy of Ransom), followed by a 36-streak behold (5th copy of Archer), and then a third behold (5th copy of Mariner) after finishing 4th.
Thank you and Merry Xmas to the gauntlet gods... and now I don't expect another gauntlet behold until the holiday season a year from now! haha

Congratulations. I hadn't realized about the boosts. I haven't played gauntlet since last objective event. But I've never done so badly.
Maybe they should make Quipment not apply in Gauntlet.
When there is an OE that involves winning a lot of Gauntlet rounds, it is ridiculous to expect people to have to try and beat "Gauntlet" opponents with Rolls that now can top out at 2500+.
Either "deactivate" Quipment in Gauntlet, or change the OE so it is not WIN forty five times in two days.

Even with the boosts, I have found gauntlet the same as ever. Yes, more people are using Quipment, but then so am I.
The OE of winning 45 rounds has sometimes been a challenge but never impossible... I have never failed to complete that OE due to gauntlet (or any other milestone).
Since this is a positivity thread: from the honour sale I added loads of stars to 5* crew, immortalised about 7 of them and hit a bunch of cryo collection milestones.
And a partridge in a pear tree.

I forgot I hadn't recalled my voyage after 12hrs (had about 1000am at that point) so clicked on the game expecting it to have failed.
It was close but...
Is there any way we can do away with the “pick the right crew” Check for autobots. It is nothing but an annoyance. And it doesn’t work. You can see in leaderboards that there are players using autobots that can clearly get around this check. I have talked to people who have told me that there is an AI professor that is programming these bots and sharing them with the top fleets. I know people who are doing this. I don’t and I am an active and fast player in the game so I get these checks frequently and they are very annoying. Please remove them from the game

He is of absolutely no benefit to my crew. Immortalized, I still have 20 crew with better command.

The "Q Combo" knocked it out in a few minutes.
A first for me, two Ransom’s in the one Gauntlet. First was from a 3 win streak, second from final rewards. Ransom had eluded me until this Gauntlet.
And now the only card that was released outside of 2023 that I don’t have is…Caretaker. That’s not so great.
