1. The first one (Borg).
2. The Mirror mega.
3. The TOS mega.
What I look for in a mega is an event structure that adds desirable crew and also utilizes existing crew. I also look for a compelling storyline that ties each week together.
At week 4 of a mega, I think at least three of the new 4*s should help in that event & count towards existing collections.
Make the finale of a mega-event count for more. I don't care if it's just balloons, but y'all hyped it back then & now the concept is ... being discussed.

I missed a lot on my break. I know this is too late, but no one else mentioned it, so I'm going heretical.
We haven't had a Timelines Original recurring legendary since MJLP, iirc. And we've never gotten the obvious Timelines Original variant: Quantum Archer. But... I'm too late on that one.
But since the topic moved to Luau, may I recommend Luau Archer? It took some digging, but but in Quantum Leap (streaming for free on the Roku Channel) season 2, episode 12, around the 31 minute mark, you'll see Scott Bakula wearing a lei. Maybe shorten up the hair, though.

Technically MJLP wasn't Timelines Original. He's from the TNG Mirror Universe comics. That entire mega had TNG Mirror Universe comic crew. And none of them are in the Timelines Originals collection.
They also haven't finished the Mirror TNG set. We still need Wes, Riker, Barclay, and a couple others. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Dr. Pulaski variant also from the comics? She never wore the early DS9/Voyager/Generations era uniform outside the comics/novels. She's not an original either.
I would be interested in a comic collection and some of would agree with me. Maybe next March for National Reading Month?
(Am I missing any comic crew? Curious now)

Thanks for the correction. Then I submit Luau Archer as a Timelines Original for a future Casual mega as the recurring legendary.

@Prime Lorca [10FH] LOL at "going heretical"!! I love anything Mirror Universe so much that WRG could literally make up any Mirror Universe character and I'd probably love it!! Mirror Grand Nagus Zek, Mirror Lwaxana Troi, Mirror Khan, Mirror Tom Paris, Mirror everyone!!!

Agreed, lots of fun potential for mirror characters!
Personally, I'd like to see a Cardassian or two. I can't remember a major Mirror Cardassian other than Garak, but there are so many good choices. Like a despotic Tekeny Ghemor as a leader of the KCA, a rebel Dukat, a cruel Ziyal . . .
In terms of main cast, I don't believe DIS has had a mirror Pike, Reno, or Nhan. Although I suspect WRG would want to stay away from potential SNW characters, which nixes Pike.
Six degrees in Inter-species Veterinary Medicine. Treating all manner of critters, from Tribbles to Humans.
Going on memory here, but I'm pretty sure Mirror Tuvok showed up on DS9, so I don't see a problem with Mirror Pike, Number One, et c. We also need him in game yet. So many good mirror crew yet. The Ferengi for a start. Plenty of fodder for Timeline Originals. I still want a Pirate King Q original for the Age of Sail collection. Tell me you can't see it!

Sad about the loss of the Archer mega...TNG mega should be fun though. Any hope of seeing that one later on down the line. All three mega options were intriguing.

That's the good thing about coming up with multiple choices, it creates opportunities to use those ideas. It is not a promise of course, but it has happened - it did with the Tribbles Mega-Event

I don't think WRG will make mirror crew of Pike or Number One out of concern of SNW itself going there later.
Going one step further, we should get plenty of SNW variants of Anson Mount's Pike, Rebacca Romijn's Number One, and Ethan Peck's Spock. So WRG may be holding back on these characters until they're able to draw on the new series (or, in preparation for, like Picard and Number One).
If we do get originals, I'm guessing they'll be one-offs or part of a theme. Pike (and O'Brien and Rillak) are certainly screaming for Wild West variants. Although if the SNW trailer is anything to go by, this won't even need to be an original crew for Pike.

I love the way you think; H*** on Wheels is where I first ran into Mount. Would love a variant that paid homage to that character.
Perhaps in anticipation of the Tin Man mega, Tam Elbrun (and the rest of the audited crew?) can have his missing traits added:
Ambassador: He's a Federation 'first contact specialist' who has interacted with many species, including being "the only Federation delegate assigned to Chandra Five."
TROI: So, after that you ran away? The last I heard, you were the only Federation delegate assigned to Chandra Five.
TROI: Tam is a telepath of extraordinary talent, even for a Betazoid. He's a specialist in first contact with new life forms.
RIKER: It was a first contact situation. Ghorusdan culture is so complex and different, that the Federation sent a specialist to prevent misunderstanding.
LAFORGE: So that was Tam Elbrun.
PICARD: Yes, well, he's evidently done more than hold together. He's the indispensable man. The Federation's finest specialist in communication with unknown life forms.
Communicator: Communication with a totally alien creature goes beyond mere telepathy. Elbrun and Gomtuu communicate over vast distances. He's specifically cited as the Federation's foremost specialist in communication with alien life.
PICARD: Yes, well, he's evidently done more than hold together. He's the indispensable man. The Federation's finest specialist in communication with unknown life forms.
PICARD: Good. Because I want to know exactly what you did. I want to know how closely you are in communication with the alien, and what you've learned about it, and I want to know now.
TAM: I just warned it, that's all. I've been in contact with it, sensing impressions from it.
TROI: How can you know that? Tam? You're in contact with it. With Tin Man. Aren't you?
TAM: No. Well, yes, a little. But not quite on a conscious level.
TROI: We're light years away. That's impossible, even for you.
TAM: Impossible for me. Maybe not impossible for Tin Man.
TROI: Tam is a telepath of extraordinary talent, even for a Betazoid. He's a specialist in first contact with new life forms.
@Shan Commodore Robert April was omitted (autocorrect rarely is) from the Animated collection.
Since we finally got our Animated collection that is strictly TAS, can we expect a "Short and Sweet" collection for Short Treks? I think there are enough to get started. I can count 16 off the top of my head.
"Runaway"- 1- Runaway Po
"The Brightest Star"- 3- Kaminar Saru, Siranna, and Lt. Georgiou
"The Escape Artist"- 3- Tevrin Krit, Android Mudd, and Bounty Hunter Mudd
"Calypso"- 3- Zora, Stranded Craft, and Returning Craft
"The Trouble with Edward- 4- Cabot Janitor, Captain Lucero, Edward Larkin, and Underwear Larkin
"Q and A"- 1- Relaxed Number One
"Ephraim and Dot"- 1- Ephraim and Dot
"Ask Not"- 0-
"The Girl Who Made the Stars"- 0
"Children of Mars"- 0

Love that idea! I might be in the minority but I hope the new TAS collection will open the door for other series collections, you could have a lot of fun with the rewards (avatars and exclusive crew etc)

Looks like Wolverine without extended claws.
Now I can't unsee it, thanks a lot
just the leg warmers missing
Carmen?

I know. Deciding was awful. How about the one we pick for June and the next two August and October. They are too good not to use.
I still want my Zhian'tara mega event. Trill are bonus crew and a new collection.
I feel heard.
