Due to the extended duration, the thresholds for unlocking rewards have been increased, and additional threshold rewards have been added.
If I see this correctly you added new thresholds but refrained from increasing the required VP for the lower thresholds, which is greatly appreciated. Can we expect that this stays that way for the upcoming extended (Galaxy) event?
Good, I'm happy to say that it appears either I was wrong or DB changed their minds, and the rewards up to the last threshold crew haven't been stretched out.
That is good news. {If it was never the intention to move those Thresholds, I apologize for my misunderstanding this week.}

i am lovin the last threshold reward: 600 I.S.S. Defiant schematics to build that ship is a nice and welcoming reward that has me considering ditching some stalled out 1/4*s for my cryo'd 4*s to grab since i missed the Defiant pack
I really haven't done an expedition event since I started... Is 750,000 seem like an achievement that can be done?
IIRC, you can get about 30,000 VP per ticket, if you use only "high" reward event crew. If the shuttle event stops with you at 150k, that's what, 20 tickets?
We could be changing values from last time too.
Oh, and please, no pointless ship battle for chrons again! And if you're going to do that, just open up warp 10 for it and don't hide the fact it's a pure galaxy buy chrons for vp play.
I was jazzed for the expedition but the art for mirror Bev and the stats cooled my jets
Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, is all ancient history. Then, before you can blink an eye, suddenly, it threatens to start all over again."
When I heard there was a mirror universe event I was thrilled. Started leveling up my straggler mirror crew immediately.
Three events later, big fat pass from me, and all because of the event crew involved. Just one person's vote. Not interested in arguing or persuading. But I play the game to collect favorites, and I'm not interested in comic characters. Especially with such tight crew slot limitations.
Personally I'd have liked it better if there was one event for all the non-canon TNG characters, and then one for the canon DS9 characters, and so on. That way, players like me could buy event packs without risking getting the crew that are the whole reason they're staying away from the event. I wouldn't want to spoil anyone's fun, and I know some people are loving these comic crew. Keep em in the mix, but maybe in the future it'd be nice to have at least one of these events free of the "non-canon" crew.

That perspective makes sense to me, and to a point I share it. I think ultimately, though, I come down on the side of the more evenly balanced dispersion of crew that they've gone with so far: a new TNG 5*, a new canon 4*, and an existing 4* per event. I have been somewhat disappointed that two of the existing 4*'s (Tucker and Uhura) have already appeared in events. Of course, I still needed three stars on my Tucker and I appreciate not having to take on someone new with Uhura, so I'm not necessarily upset about it.
I'd love to have more TOS and DS9 crew, but I will say that I've been pleasantly surprised by how much love ENT has gotten throughout this event. Sato made her event debut finally, plus Reed and Mayweather have received new Mirror personae cards. I've been somewhat disappointed that this Mirror Universe event has focused exclusively on Terrans, though, with no one from the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance appearing through these first three events. It's made it easier to run shuttles for just one faction, of course, so again it's hard to necessarily complain.
My hope for next week's event crew: Mirror Paris, Mirror Sulu, and Mirror Ezri.
Paris because I think he'd make the most interesting Voyager mirror crew (a mercenary to whoever pays his bar bills; don't care if it's non-canon, VOY needs some appreciation that isn't janeway). Sulu because he's the last of the TOS mirror crew with a distinctive look (the scar). Mirror Ezri because she's the only existing Mirror 4* I don't have FF yet.
There will also be new thresholds rewards added for the next event.
Thanks, please keep adding new thresholds (above existing ones) for all other events as well.
Especially please heavily adjust the ranked rewards to address the influx of players. I see a lot of otherwise enthusiastic players giving up now because there has become too much competition to even FF the 4* ranked for their efforts.
+ now that in the 100-200 range in events, there is essentially no difference in rewards to if I ranked 900, so I'm considering intentionally playing/achieving less. I think if we put in that amount of hours and effort, more than 1/5 of the featured legendary crew would be nice.
I really like the idea of crew slots or fractions of crew slots given as threshold and ranked rewards, to help with the influx of new crew.
More reruns and existing crew to help players with fusing too.
I have not done an expedition event before, and had a quick look on the wiki.
Do I get just one shot at the expedition, i.e. just one (1 hour) ticket?
Presuming I have one run at each mission on each difficulty, and pick up all points, how many points am I likely to get?
Assuming the same as last time, you'll get 3 tickets each day. The tickets refresh at server midnight. This means that on the first and last day, you'll have 12 hours to use those tickets. If you don't use all your tickets by server refresh, you'll use them and be put back to 3, the same as with cadet tickets. You can buy additional tickets with dilithium.
Tickets no longer have a 1 hour time limit - you decide when to end it. Ending the ticket restores your crew's fatigue and resets the rare rewards.
Each mission has 3 rare reward nodes giving 250, 500, and 1000 VP per difficulty level. Completing a mission also gives 25, 50, and 100 VP. The rare rewards can be collected once per difficulty. So if you collect all rare rewards on all difficulties, you'll get 5,250 VP per mission, plus the 25/50/100 for each time you run it. You'll likely need at least 2 runs for each mission due to pathing.
After collecting the rare rewards, you can grind the ticket as long as you have the crew and can stand it, getting only the normal VP reward. Then you can end your ticket and do it all again.
I know that's not the short "you'll get X VP" answer you may have wanted, but hopefully it gives you an expectation.
My hope for next week's event crew: Mirror Paris, Mirror Sulu, and Mirror Ezri.
I'd say there's about a 100% chance that one of the crew next week will be from the TNG comic series.
My money's on Geordi, just based on his having turned up in so many other events already. Plus, I think we all welcome strong ENG. I'm totally down with Mirror Ezri Tigan being the existing 4*, though. My 1/4 could use some stars.

The problem with that bet is he is not as big a role in the comic. Both Geordi and Piker are barely there for half the run and Geordi is even later. Diana or Reg are more likely from a present in the series point of view. Thought I would have thought we saw Diana before Dr Crusher based on that logic as well . So the big takeaway is it is DB and DB will DB.

Maybe the irony is that we play because we’re Star Trek fans, those hopeful idealists that like to think things will get better when we raise valid concerns about fairness and balance, etc and we forget that DB’s greed openly mocks the values espoused by the franchise they have a license

Event Factions: Federation
Bonus crew:
• high bonus: event crew
• small bonus: variants of Beverly Crusher, variants of Mayweather, variants of Uhura, and all Mirror crew. Picard variants will NOT provide a bonus

Faction, surely.
Event details say crew sharing is only phase 1, so yeah, presumably faction is first.
Cardassian wishlist:
Tora Ziyal - Thanks!

Faction first.

Maybe it's the pitchforks that made them change their minds
That is good news. {If it was never the intention to move those Thresholds, I apologize for my misunderstanding this week.}

IIRC, it is usually the order listed?
So, Faction then Expedition?
Scott
Maybe this?
Shan {and other staff} DO read the Forums, and pass on our Feedback......
Scott
That wasn't really the question but thanks.
The question was if you then will also NOT increase the VP requirements for the usual threshold rewards?
But, the regular Thresholds will NOT be raised?
Also, can you hint what the final Event will be?
Don't come right out and say it, but maybe hints?
"Many groups find themselves in competition at times."
"Going to new places and having Away Teams explore can offer rewards."
"There are hundreds of thousands of Solar Systems in this neighborhood."

Faction before blood. 😁
VP for the usual threshold will not be increased.
Thank you so much.
I know this weekend I am not going to get much. {I'll have Thursday & Friday about four hours each. Tuesday I am working at 0900 instead of 1000.}

That is great news, thank!
