Personally I never complain about longer events (I don't have a life though XD).

So to address some of the comments I have seen here:
- the forced log out took place long before the start of the event and has nothing to do with the issue at hand
- when we recommend to not send a ticket in, it is because we know there is an outage and we do not need individual tickets telling us the exact same thing
- Once the outage is resolved, if the outage resulted in a specific issue for you, then submit a ticket and Support will see what can be done about it.

thanks for the well wishes,, i did lose my voyage. Hopefully the support ticket will recoup it.
For those of you still unable to log in, have you force closed the app/restarted the game completely?

Shan : see above. Have restarted iPhone. Have removed/readded App. Cannot log in via iOS, Facebook, or Steam. Error message "An error occurred during sign in. Please try again later."

Does your post mean its chaotica and archania time all over again?
Everybody needs to send in tickets, as everbody was affected, and then we wait several weeks for a reply, since support is getting bombarded with requests?
Got back in but my game has gone back to the start on FB! Was captain level 53! 70 crew slots, 3 shuttles, several ships and lots in stasis!
Please contact Support, provide them with as much details as you can, especially your name in game. They will do their best to locate your account and sort this out.
I not only restarted the game several times, I reinstalled the game and I still get the message everyone else is getting. "An error occurred during sign in. Please try again later."

I think expedition tickets would be a good compensation.

Took about 5 minutes of sitting at "Activating" Combadge" to finally log in. That plus the massive lag in game isn't a nice start to a long event.
Stuck in infinite loop trying to log in on iOS and Facebook.
Error message "An error occurred during sign in. Please try again later." Error message comes up almost instantaneously.
Event is pretty much ruined at this point.
Tried restarting many many times
I was fortunate enough to have done a recall 5 mins before the event was supposed to start. Hope it works out for you\
Oh, and it fails on Steam also. 2 hours plus and cannot log in.
