The augment trait has been muddled just like the trait doctor, whilst it might describe "political affiliation" that's stretching it to be honest, because in that sense, Khan and the botany bay group should only qualify because they set up a colony and therefore would qualify, in the game it has clearly. The enterprise augments were rogues with no affinity other than survival but I wouldn't dispute them having it as they were proto-augment faction.
In game the trait has clearly been used more in the adjective sense as Bashir has this trait. IMO Danar should have augment but that would mean Silik should also have the trait. The other alternative is they add a trait "human augment" for Khan et al and keep the augment trait for anyone else "genetically enhanced"
[was on Sabbatical/Hiatus] Currently a trialist at Galaxy SquadronSTAY SAFE and KBO
I've updated the list to include the Augment (Political Faction) and Genetically Engineered/Enhanced (Physiological Condition) issue, including links to the posts by @Matt_Decker and @Dirk Gunderson. Included Silik with the latter group, for the very reason that @Ironagedave mentioned.
I've also added two traits to request for Chancellor Gorkon: Communicator and Inspiring. I mean, the guy was literally named for Mikhail Gorbachev and Abraham Lincoln. He undertook the initiative to engage the Federation at a perilous moment in time and it was his leadership that, despite the conspiracy against it that took his life, saved the Klingon Empire by appealing to his fellow Klingons as well as to their longstanding nemesis, the Federation. Can't do all that without being an inspiring communicator!
Plus, that cane of his alone should have the Inspiring trait. That thing is dope.
I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned, but Bell Riots Jadzia needs Astrophysicist, Exobiology, Gambler & Pilot. Most of her versions have them. Exception is Mirror (who conceivably didn't get the same training) Honey Bare (ditto) & Princess (who still doesn't have exobiolgy for some reason)
Dr Noah is missing Human trait. Anastasia, Duchamps, and Honey all have their correct racials in addition to holo, so Noah is inconsistent with the crew from the same episode functioning under the same circumstances. Falcon I'm not touching since O'Brien roleplayed him later.

Would love to see mucian or athlete trait given to Beverly Crusher for her dancing background. Or a new Dancing Doctor Crusher crew member.
Athlete is probably the most apropos for this. I don't think adding "Dancer" would be bad, but it is hard to think of anyone else who might have that trait other than her.
Admiral of the Haus of GaghGagh, Starbase level 94, we are not accepting members at this time.
Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.

Artist seems the most suitable to me, but a Dancer trait would be nifty. Others:
Dancing Uhura
Festive Jadzia Dax
Jazz Musician Odo
Morn (believe it or not, but he was dancing at Jadzia's bachelorette party!)
Orion Vina
Tommy Gun Dixon
Trelane
Future possibilities:
Data (TNG "Data's Day; either tap dancing in duty uniform or dancing with Keiko in dress uniform)
Janeway ("Fair Haven", in Irish town clothing)
Keiko (TNG "Data's Day", in bridal dress)
Kira ("You Are Cordially Invited", in duty uniform)
Leeta ("You Are Cordially Invited", in an outfit other than her work clothes)
Lily (same segment as Tommy Gun Dixon in First Contact)
Lieutenant Nog ("You Are Cordially Invited", in duty uniform)
Marta (TOS "Whom Gods Destroy")
Seven of Nine and The Doctor (VOY "Someone to Watch Over Me")

Yeah all good crew with the potential trait. Maybe introduce the dancer trait with an event similar to the musician themed event last month.
If Spock a half-human, half-Vulcan has telepath, and Tuvix a half-Vulcan, half-Talaxian has telepath, then surely Lorian would have telepathic potential too as he's half-human, half-Vulcan.

I'm not even sure what to say about the combo of traits given to the new Augment Commander O'Brien. How can they all be correct at the same time? He's apparently an Augment Federation Starfleet Officer (like Bashir), but also Brutal and wearing an outfit that matches the Augments who woke up on the SS Botany Bay in TOS (but not an Undercover Operative, Costumed, nor a Temporal Agent). Huh?

He can literally be just about anything.

T'kuvma needs inspiring, that seemed to be his defining trait
Bell Riots Jadzia is missing all of Jadzia's traits: Gambler Astrophysicist, Pilot, also I would ad undercover operative
Bell Riots Bashir: Undercover operative,
I'm of the mind that the following Burnham personae should have the Vulcan trait:
Graduation
Prospect
Desert
First Officer
Prisoner
Once she's been added to the Discovery crew, though, she begins actively breaking away from her Vulcan upbringing. Yes, it's still there inside her, but she's making the conscious choice to compartmentalize and, in some instances, reject it.
If they add Vulcan to all the Burnham's, I'll be annoyed. I've airlocked every version of her everytime.
Canonically, the HMS Bounty is a 12 man crewed, B'rel class Scout. (not to be confused with its much larger (but identically shaped) K'Vort class cruiser such as the IKC Pagh, or Rotarran
I didn't know that! I've always wondered why the Bounty was so small...
Different issue: the musician trait. Having a hard time understanding why all Datas are musicians, but no Rikers except Jazz Musician Riker. Either it's only the version of a character where they show musical ability, or it's every version of them from the universe/timeline where they show the ability. Either way, though, not sure why Mirror Vic Fontaine is a musician. This trait is messed up.
Let's talk about another trait here: Prisoner. This seems relevant with the arrival of Xindi Prisoner Archer next week.
Current crew with the Prisoner trait:
Mintakan Troi
Prisoner Katrina Cornwell
Prisoner Michael Burnham
Prisoner O'Brien
Crew who specifically were prisoners at the dilithium mines on the penal asteroid of Rura Penthe all seem to lack the Prisoner trait, but surely ought to have it:
Martia
Prisoner 'Bones' McCoy
Rura Penthe Kirk
Rura Penthe Reed
Other candidates for the Prisoner trait:
Temporal Prisoner Chakotay has the word "prisoner" in his name.
Victorian Pulaski was held prisoner by the holodeck character Professor Moriarty.
Any others I've missed?
They should make a dual prisoner character out of Archer/T'Pol (when they were tied up together). That was a good scene..

She'd be part of a collection then, that's why. Nothing personal. I haven't watched Discovery.

Well, the good news is, there are only 10 Vulcans needed to max out that collection, and you can actually complete it using only 1*, 2* and 3* crew, so it's a pretty easy one, whether or not Burnham eventually gets the trait.

Yeah, I've already got 23 Vulcans, 7 maxed out, so I'm almost there. If a character isn't part of a collection or doesn't have a set of skills or traits I find useful, like Reed in this last event, I usually airlock them. I don't keep or airlock depending on whether I like the character or not (usually).
On the old forum, @GilbertSmith had a thread for List of missing crew traits. I could have sworn we'd started something like that here on the new forum, but I couldn't find a consolidated thread. I'll try to update this first post to include whatever is pointed out by anyone else.

I would argue not all Picards should have Musician, just the Picards post-Inner Light (Season 5), since that's when he learned his flute and began improving his musical skills. Stargazer Picard (pre-show), Locutus of Borg (Season 4), Detective Dixon Hill (Season 1-2), Romulan Picard (Season 5 but before Inner Light), Robin Hood (Season 4), Smitten Jean-Luc Picard (Season 3) are all versions which were pre-Inner Light.

Miranda Jones should have Vulcan removed. Either that or they add Vulcan to all the Burnhams and Amanda Grayson. I rewatched the episode with Jones and she was on Vulcan for a total of 4 years. Burnham and Grayson spent decades there and still don’t have the trait, so one way or the other, DB. You don’t get to have it both ways. Please make up your mind in this regard.
Personally I favor just giving the Burnhams and Grayson the trait, though it would likely be easier to remove it from one character than add it to so many.
Weirdly enough, I’m also Vulcan Housewife. Also, RNGesus hates me, like really, REALLY hates me.

Mirror Vic didn't sing. He had a brief cameo appearance with guns blazing, and that was it. Mirror Vic was also a real person, unlike regular Vic who was a holo-program.
