Opponent ship ability descriptions go offscreen on my iPad. All ships and all abilities do this. Unfortunately, I can still read those ridiculous ability names. I find the lack of professionalism in the names to be as insulting as it is unprofessional.

That's a bit of an exaggeration. I would think that a vast majority of players should easily be able to clear all the thresholds by Monday morning without having to spend a dime. If you need to, funnel the chronitons you earn in the event back into regular ship battles to earn more Intel — that also doesn't cost you anything, if you only use what you earned. If you're expecting to clear threshold rewards in one sitting, then you might need to use built-up chrons or buy a chron offer — but there's certainly no need to do so, unless you're going for rank.
Edit: Oh, and if you think you need to buy schematics packs just to compete, you don't. I don't think anybody in my entire fleet is using one of the "bonus" ships, and they're doing just fine. Any of the regular 5* ships will serve you quite well in the Epic difficulty.

I'm guessing some if not all of the 2,000 chrons I thought I was owed were VP in disguise, and that is incredibly disappointing considering how easy 2,000 VP is to get comparatively.
That said, I am seriously loving this event aside from the missing chrons/display glitch.
On the other hand that would have been too many chrons in too short a time. So I thought this must have been a display bug. But glad you are having a good time despite that...
Feedback: Possible connection between UI and loot box prize payout - specifically Chronitons
Issue: When the loot box prize appears, IF the initial amount (of Chronitons) displayed is "0", then climbs to the ending amount, say "300", that amount is added to your Chronitons. However, if you open a loot box, and the initial amount starts at "300", it does not climb to an ending amount, that amount of Chronitons is NOT added to your Chronitons.
I've seen several "0" -> "300" chroniton prizes that were added to my chronitons, and I've seen (many more) prizes (instant) "300" -> "300" chroniton prizes that were NOT added to my chronitons.
My device was auto upgraded to the new 5.1 client, so I'm unsure if this was introduced in 5.1, or if it exists in 5.0 as well.
Feedback: I'm really enjoying this event. I really appreciate that we can farm items that we are able to keep......Plus I can still work on my crew. It also means my fleet has benefited from extra donations of holoemitters this morning, definitely appreciated by all of us.
I LOVE that my crew aren't tied up and I can still run voyages and shuttle's.
I do like the reward boxes at the end of each battle however I agree that the intel could perhaps be rewarded higher. 25 Intel when it costs 1200 per skirmish seems irrelevant. I do love the honor and chronitions though
575 schematics in rewards table was mean! Tbh I'm not buying a pack simply because the drop rates are only 100.....dabo is better than that! Too risky for me, and my terrible RNG!

Finally, I do understand that some players are a little bored with regards to ships and levels. I cannot play epic because my highest 5* ship is a lvl 6 bounty and every time I enter I am absolutely annihilated. I've tried twice and was disappointed to be thrown out after 1 battle and on the 2nd attempt after the second battle. Complete waste of Intel so I shall be remaining in elite for the rest of the event. I also feel perhaps the lower tiers could have a cheaper Intel cost. Higher difficulties already give better vp and better rewards from what I can see, it seems fair that lower difficulties should cost less in Intel. This could also provide very new players with an event that they can fully participate in, without becoming disheartened.
I've seen a LOT of people in fleet chats and whatnot saying that they didn't receive their chrons- with a screenshot of receiving VP from a box.
Everyone who says their chrons aren't showing up- please, please look *very* carefully at the icon in the rewards box. It's likely you are actually seeing VP, and not chrons.
I found the skirmishes rather easy and .. well, boring .. sorry ... and odd that you only face 5 ships .. and they are always the same.
I'd recommend the following:
first 5 ships - fixed - fine - I can live with that ..
but do NOT stop after 5 ... generate a new, random ship .. increase their shields, hull, attack, accuracy, and evasion by something like 20% from the last one ... and keep it going ... keep going, until we lose.
Each time, give another ship .. and buff it ...
Offer MORE VP rewards for wins beyond the 5th .. make it WORTH it ...
reward those with the skills to endure ...
if you can keep winning, keep giving out the rewards .. they won't go forever .. if you keep increasing the stats by some % ... sooner or later, we'll face a ship with 1,000,000 shields, and 50 attack and 50 accuracy ... that's fine ... we struggled to get there, and earned some nice rewards along the way ... (*cough* Citations *cough* ) ...

Feedback: Where are my chronitons?
Issue: I played the 2nd Skirmish on Epic and was awarded two lots of chronitons (something around 250 each), but I do not know where they are. After the first skirmish my chronitons had obviously increased, but not after the 2nd even though I won all battles both times.
It has happened again during the 4th (I think) skirmish. One of my rewards was 300 chrons, but they have not appeared.
EDIT: On my 5th Skirmish, 300 chrons which I won did appear, but I'm still missing around 800 chrons.
EDIT #2: 6th skirmish, 300 chrons supposedly awarded, but no chronitons appeared (This is also making me wonder if other rewards, like intel or credits, are not actually being rewarded since I was paying less attention to them.)
This just happened twice to me. I'm thinking the 300 chrons was a placeholder or cached image. The first time today I actually got the chrons (I think) but the next 2 times there was nothing.
Event screen overcrowded on iPad mini 4: various portions of the display overlap up to 50%. Examples include the crew selection and the crew bonus skills windows. Makes choosing which crew much harder since you can’t see what a particular crew’s bonuses are.

Totally agree with all these comments! Overall, great concept, but needs some tweaking.
Feedback: Reward system seems pretty balanced with the chance of credits/honor/chronitons/VP but nothing worth spending 10 dilithium for a new chance. While the missions are somewhat repetitive it isn't worse than galaxy events. Adding different crew causes weird screen views but it isn't a big deal because people rarely change crew.
Issue: If the goal is to force people to try different combinations of crew it wasn't a success. I run the same 4 crew each time on Epic without any problems and receive 2x rewards. Suggestion to fix this would be either to not allow the same crew to be reused (other than maybe event crew) after 1 mission. I don't think this is workable but an alternative is to make the bonus crew better and the ship you are battling tougher. You can't just make the ships tougher as I feel the reason behind most of the problems is that the bonus crew really don't do a lot other than provide additional VP.
Last night I had two chron rewards, one was for 125 or 150 which I did get after finishing all 5 battles and the other was for 300 which I did NOT receive. I tried restarting my game on my phone and this morning have switched over to by tablet but still nothing. Both devices are on Android. I did submit a ticket as Shan suggested to someone else but wanted to note my experience with this as well. Possibly it's related to the higher-tier chron rewards. I know for sure it showed the chron symbol but perhaps the display was bugged and it really was VP instead? I don't have a screenshot as I wasn't expecting anything to go wrong.
I'll also add my voice to those saying the ability names on the ships are really unprofessional. Star Trek is meant to be fun but this crosses the line into being just cartoonish.

I just ran another Skirmish run and I carefully logged all of my counts before and after. I got as rewards 2x3000 creds, 75 crons and 600 VP.
Of these the only counter which increased was my VP counter which went up by 6600 - which is exactly as I would expect after completing a full run at Epic (4x100 and 1x2000)
The counters are not increasing and it is not that we are looking in the wrong place.

What I mean by "Icon" error is, Chron Icon was actually supposed to be displaying as VP Icon. Which seems, for the most part, to be resolved now.

Feedback. I'm actually enjoying this event. It's not as teadius a galaxy and not as mind numbing boring as a galaxy. The enemy ships skill names switching between English and German is actually kinda funny.
Suggestion. Make it 7 skimishes instead of 5. Any more and it would be too teadius bit 5 doesn't seem enough. I hope to see this type of event more often and outside of mega events.

I got no reward, tried to do the match again and still got the error even after reloading the game.
I needed to abort the skirmish and in doing so I lost 1200 of intel.

After checking this thread I can confirm that for me the cron issue is also happening for Credits and Honour
I jotted down my starting amounts and run two Skirmishes and none of the crons, credits or honour I got awarded were credited to my account.
If this has been going on for the entire event I have probably lost a lot more than the items I counted during my testing.

I will let the team know about the errors and it will be looked into but it will likely take time.
