Please correct me if I’m wrong, because that’s entirely possible, but doesn’t this sort of defeat the purpose of warp 10?
No for galaxy and skirmish events it still is beneficial to have warp 10 to help get large quantities of items.
If you are simply trying to level a crew member and need some high cost component it may be better now to do a single warp.
But I haven’t used a warp 1 in like 6 months with the exception of ad warps.
I used this earlier when farming a 20 chron item with a crud drop rate. Rather than waste the ad warp on the possibility of not getting the item, I single warped 2x then on the third I got 2 of the three items I needed and doubled to 4 with the ad. It was a very nice feature to have I thought.
It works. And you get double of the exact same rewards you received the first time. Seems to be a choice of ad-warping or double rewards, which seems fair. Think this is a useful tool for resource management, and if you don't like it, you can carry on as if nothing happened. Will need to study further, but my two cents.
Hmm...is it me or does this mechanic smell funny to others as well? It would seem that the use of Warp 10s is going to be disincentivized if an ad could be used to double the exact rewards of a particular Warp 1 result. Especially for those of us who rapidly tap through Warp 1s and may accidentally skip over a particularly juicy reward set, thus causing people to burn more chrons chasing a good item drop.
Maybe I am totally wrong here...I’ll have to see it in action.
It will have no effect on my warping 10, but it may get me to stop every half hour and warp 1 then do the double up. Then back to warp 10. When you’re burning through tens of thousands of chrons in galaxy or skirmish, I actually wish there was a warp 100.
That makes perfect sense... except I think Warp 10 is the theoretical maximum (unless you go trans warp or slip stream or something) and then the forums would be in an uproar about it being non-canon.😑
TOS ships exceeded warp 10, before they normalised the scale. Given the screwed up timeline, exceeding the old warp 10 would be perfectly feasible!
I didn't notice a change in the crew quarters yesterday, but I love the new feature that I see today, where you can see how many of each component you have in inventory as you are building a piece of equipment.
DB have increased the levels each room has so has any fleet maxed out all theircurrent rooms? I've seen starbase 109 we're on 86 atm so I don't see any issues in the next 12 months.
Well, we are currently LV 119 and considering our current speed, we won t have all rooms maxed until early January 2019. So Its more like 5 months instead of ur suggested 12.
You guys complaining about replicator rations need to cool it lol. Not all of us have thousands of rations. I’d be willing to bet most of us don’t.
Well you got two awesome so I would say that qualifies as most
I scrolled up to awesome that comment because of yours Banjo. maybe others will see my comment and also "awesome" it. I have no idea how you could have so many replicator rations, legendary items are crazy expensive in both rations and credits, I'm out of both all the time, even though I try to replicate only green/blue items to cut down on the faction item requirements unless the cron cost is just too crazy.

From his earlier reponse, I saw I was correct in my assumption that I replicate the bigger items a lot more frequently than Banjo does. So that's a huge part of it. I think he said he does one every 2 weeks or so, while I probably do 6 or 10 of them every week, on average (that's just guesswork, it may be a lot more). I do try to focus on replicating just the smaller items whenever possible, but when I've got a level 90 item that needs a whole bunch of expensive-to-farm 3* and 4* sub-items, I often figure it's better to replicate than to waste a huge amount of chrons on equipping one main item.
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing. ~ Data, ST:TNG "Haven"
So they are consistent with the rest of the voyage-exclusive crew (decent if you're newer, weak if you're not)? Sounds reasonable then.
Jannar is good. Clown is not bad. Lucien - yes, meh. Thot is decent in Arena. Guinan is sometimes useful at Gauntlet (but mostly for double Guinan when 3 traits). Worf is bad.
...
Yeah, 3rd part crew is ridiculously bad for time you need to even get them, much less FF them. 2nd part crew are decent.

You have to wait an hour between...
Oh awesome! Thanks so much for the help Unkie

I .. I have added them now
They are kinda... bad? mediocre? Picard is nice-ish, but pure C/D/S, McCoy is just bad.
Thank you!!
Are these 2 new crew available in-game via voyages as of when the update first went live a couple days ago, or not until some later date?
It has been live since last Wednesday.

Has any player found one of them yet?
Yeah, McCoy dropped for someone today who posted on discord, may have dropped earlier as well for others.
McCoy is from choice b on a higher duty 3 (guinan is choice a). Theory is Picard is the other choice on the colonel worf dilemma.
