I know it's a bit off topic, but then it really isn't...If DB is so concerned about creating a "safe" place for players maybe they should make note of the number of times alcohol and/or tobacco are required as parts of a recipe. Not to mention, but I will, the fact that almost every character is holding/firing a weapon.

@Shan - PMs is blocked again. This is plural of PM or private message. As a fleet we generally don't have chats about Premenstrual syndrome, which by the way, is not censored... Uugh!

Typing in my Message of the Day to my Fleet to give crew specifics for the upcoming event saw the censoring of "5* (Ex)" describing Delta Flyer Paris and Disguised Kira. Typing in "4* (Ex)" for Rura Penthe Reed was accepted. Hmmm....?
Again: JUST GET THE CENSOR OUT OF FLEET AND SQUAD CHATS! It's impossible to talk without frustration, it's impossible to share links to resources like https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1S_yqmSXvGxTTNTRzJ4NVdPaUE/view even if you rename it to tinyurl.com/SttCadets. A few more "improvements" and it will be impossible to do anything, but curse the stupid censor.
"credit card" is actually fine by itself but the censor works by context so its no surprise why it wouldnt work for whatever reason. This is exactly why we need a way to disable the filter, it is just too confusing.
Aujourd'hui meaning today is also banned. Can't imagine why. As others have said, we should just do away with it until we can have a functionnal one. There's no logic to any of the censoring and it completely prevent actual communication. It's good for my fleet's Facebook page but I don't see why DB keeps it up.

i keep finding messages that i took painstakingly long to type not go thru in the game chat. very irritating.
Any time I get close to a long-ish message in the in-game chat, I first do a select-all then copy to the clipboard, so I can break it up into two different messages if I need to. (Yes, I can be quite wordy. )

Here's my vote to put the stupid offensive word filter on an option so that those of use who are adults (which is the VAST majority of players it seems) can turn the damn thing off.
