When I initially signed up, I tried to use my first name, Shyaporn and it was rejected. It is a Thai name. The -porn suffix is common among transliterated Thai names.
I understand this might not be common knowledge, but I hope this widens your world view a bit. This really is an issue that belongs back in the 90s when trying to sign up for America Online.
for my Fleet is pretty annoying that a word "niekto" is censored. in our language that means "someone".

Today the words "my baby" we're censored... I was able to say my for my next comment baby would not post... Two separate comments... Ended up saying: my child... Most believe the censor is running on overtime... What doesn't make sense is some can say a word and others can't...

gryphon, i tested all those words and phrases and have added them to the list at the top of this thread. the ones i have not added are context based, and as words themselves are not censored.
Accomplissements, the french word for achievements is censored. It's a feature of the game and we can't discuss it plainly. Pense and classement (again, a feature of the game) are still censored months after being reported.

Saying «pour l'instant» (for the moment, in french) comes back as po## #'instant. 2 letters out of «pour» get censored. I understand it means something else in english, but why is it offensive? As for the letter l... still at a loss. It stands for «the» in french.. making actual sentences is getting more and more complicated.
Whatever is being done does not work. Things keep getting worse. I'll repeat what I've said before, censoring should be optional in fleet chat. Fleet chat is for consensual association, there is no need for overwatch like this.

"Sarina" - as in, the augment woman Bashir treated/dated. I'm kind of hoping to see her in the game, so it's going to be difficult if nobody's allowed to say her name (the poor thing's got enough problems socialising already).
