Apparently "shuttle" is a bad word because it was censored yesterday.

Line works great for me. I'll use Discord but Line is definitely my favourite. Love the Keep app too
Come join our fleet! We're a great social group that helps each other. You play the way you want to, participate as much as you want and if you want to be competitive, you can be! Check out our fleet ad:
Admiral of the Haus of GaghGagh, Starbase level 94, we are not accepting members at this time.
Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.
All 4 gigabytes of chat history you can't get rid of and everything...
I have no problem, I delete my chats every so often to clear space. As far as I know, that works.
Regardless, I'll keep using Line.

You can also export the message archive from any of your LINE groups, so you don't lose any discussion even if you did clear the history (although it just saves a text version, not any images or attached files). Personally, I use LINE on my computer, so space isn't an issue. Using the mobile app wouldn't work for me, since on my phone I can't switch from STT to any other app without having to restart the game when switching back.
But it's been great. In fact, I doubt I'd still be playing Timelines if all I had was the in-game chat. Not only does an external chat program not lose messages like the internal chat frequently does, but it's just so much more pleasant for getting to know my fleetmates. (Not to mention being able to share links, longer messages, permanent notes, images, etc.)
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing. ~ Data, ST:TNG "Haven"
What I find particular bizarre about the filter is that some words are censored for some people but not for others. For example:
I sometimes chat in Swedish with one of my fleetmates. The Swedish word for "good" is "bra". I can type and send that with no problems, but when he types it all we see is "###".
Chat moderation is fine, but sometimes the most innocuous words get caught in the filters as well. Foreign words are affected the most, though, and make an innocent sentence look like the worst of insults.
... Doesn't stop people from using creative alternatives.
So, yes, if you want to maintain separate accounts for each device, it should work.
I use the same Line account across multiple devices: phone, work laptop, my PC and the family HTPC (I'm not Captain Maths, but that's approximately four devices). No need to set up multiple accounts.
My experience seems in line (sorry!) with your screen-grab, too.
So, yes, if you want to maintain separate accounts for each device, it should work.
I do not "maintain separate accounts for each device" regardless of what might be mentioned in the portion of the FAQ you posted. I use a laptop and smartphone (2 different devices) to access the same account with the same exact information. Now, I did have to eventually create a password for my line account because I got tired of accessing the account through the qr code provided by Line but that wasn't difficult to accomplish.
You see, where you were mistaken in the original post that I quoted and in your assessment of the Line FAQ page is that there is a version of Line for app based devices and a version for pc based devices so it is possible to use Line on multiple devices without needing multiple accounts. So, in my case, I have Line on my Android phone from the Google app store and Line on my laptop from the windows store...2 different devices, same account.
k just to keep from making multiple posts here is the past 2 weeks compiled list that i was paying attention to. some of us are trying to have intelligent conversation and your making that impossible.
Vadic Winn ; character name in ST
packleds ; race in ST universe
I understand your frustration, but I just had to correct you on these. The character is Vedek Winn, and the race are called Pakleds.
We moved to discord. The in-game chat is unusable in french, it's pathetic. It's sad because about a third of the fleet is comprised of casual players who don't want notifications from chat and rarely load discord. I think this lesser engagement will lead to losing players. If the fleet chat could be used as intended, we would generate more engagement and retain players better.
The Fleet, DB and the game are all losing because of an unnecessary desire to censor a language the system clearly cannot understand. Is the threat of consenting adults using a swear word once in a while really so bad? (I'm not talking about UC which has other reasons to be censored, notably kids).
Admiral of the Québec Alliance Fleet. Joignez-vous à nous.
Captain Morgan is banned in chat but also fleet message of the day. You can't tell people to get their character out of cryo for next week, too risqué!
This is reaching levels of stupidity that should not be possible.

There are copious amounts of tequila and single-pot whiskey that go into our characters, but we have to make sure children don't read the names of any specific brands...
I must say some of our fleets best chats revolve around the ludicrous filtering. It is supremely frustrating, yet also a source of great humor. There was a large discussion where we were testing alcohol references that some members could post with no problem but others could not. "Champagne", "beer", "drunk" and "intoxicated" were censored for some but not others.
So if you are going to censor those words I previously mentioned in posts above, then you also need to remove whiskey, rum and all of the others as well. Then, you will need to remove bloodwine and all of the builds for the wine as well. And, all of the whiskey builds too, otherwise you are allowing only some and becoming hypocrites. Then why stop there? Remove all weapons as well because of the same thing. Because they could be construed as offensive, right? Or remove drunk troi because she could be construed as offensive as well. Then can we move to the sexist crews afterwards? *sigh*
Now I am all for some censorship, but this has really become stupid. You cannot allow some words and disallow others. But if you would just censor the swear words like you did at first and leave it at that, then I think everyone would be happy.
