I'm pretty sure we are all getting Kung Fu Sarek BUT I'm holding out hope (their wording leaves a little room for interpretation) that the Sarek will be the Legendary Event crew for next week and we will all get a free copy. If there are 3 new event crew next week (including Sarek) that will be 499. Maybe the Honor Hall or Gauntlet will be updated and that will be the 500th character? I dunno. I can't remember, but did they flat out say, "This character (kung fu Sarek) will be the 500th character and you will get a free copy" OR did say "You will get this character (kung fu Sarek) to celebrate the release of the 500th character"? I may be reading way too much into this though lol

It's Picard experiencing a whole other life, and it affects him in a profound way for the rest of the series...You see him go through various stages of accepting where he is then who he is. And we see him flourish in this other world, a world we later find out is doomed, and no longer exists. Picard ends up with a wife and son, but then loses them all, and is suddenly expected to hop right back into the captain's chair. I'm probably still mangling the description here, but yeah, it's a really beautiful episode IMO and really stands out against other more "standard" Trek fare. I guess I can theoretically understand it not "clicking" for some people, but I am a bit confused about actively disliking it?

Agreed. I don't recall them saying the Sarek is the 500th character, just that we were getting a free Legendary in honor of hitting 500 Characters. If next week only has 2 new crew (498) they maybe, just maybe 499 and 500 could be Honor Hall and Gauntlet
