Not really feeling the reward crew on this one. Unless I did the math wrong, her voyage total is okay (in comparison to Gladiator Spock and C. La Forge), not a ton of traits, and her ship ability seems okay. SCI/CMD/DIP isn't common but it's isn't not exactly rare either.

She is the new top SCI base skill crew with 1301, so she is useful for shuttles and faction events. Not too shabby imho.

I noticed that, too, Zombie Squirrel (sorry, I'm still not used to the new ZomBAD thing). She beats out old lady Jadzia on that front. Probably worth the effort.

I knew her SCI was high but I didn't realize it was that high. This is my first time going for rank in a Skirmish, so here's hoping I get her.
I'd rather have chrons than intel in the rewards (assuming they are comparable value). If you're someone like me who generally waits to collect rewards until the end of the event, the Intel is worthless, whereas chrons still have value (even if you're sitting on thousands of them, you at least could do something with them. Intel doesn't carry over, so it vanishes) to develop the rewarded crew. By contrast, if you collect during the event/as the rewards are earned, instead of getting 1200 Intel, you could get 120 chrons, which you could (a) convert to 1200 intel with a few clicks or (b) use/save the chrons another way.
You can get two of the event legendary? Does it replace the behold you would usually get?
I think it was only in the last few months that someone posted a three-peat or the featured legendary from an event pack. Event crew usually are awarded as straight drops but rarely are given as options in a behold - beholds themselves are less common than straight drops for 4* crew and apparently more common than straight drops for 5* crew.

My understanding with premium packs is that the format for it can either be
1. the super rare/legendary is the first character in the pack
2. a behold at the very end of either rarity
3. 2 beholds in the final slots of either rarity
To clarify my question, does the game sometimes swap out beholds to "make room" for event characters?
Not sure if it’s worth blowing the dil to try to get a 4th star for Harry. He may languish in the 3/4 level 1 pile until he’s in the portal and I get a 4th copy.
He may even go right out the airlock but I usually don’t do that...hence my large pile of potential space nap victims when crew space is tight.
I can't confirm this but I get the sense that the event packs are weighted towards the super rare who is given out as a rank reward. The ones I've purchased in the past seem to favor the ranked super rare.

Since we get the reduced (after) mega event packs soon I will complete him and Captive Bashir with them. No Harry is worth a regular price, well, for me not even a reduced one But since I will do some pulls next week he is bound to show up in them as well...

I got Harry as a straight drop at the very end of the pack I got today...I do get a little excited when I see schematics or a rare crew in that first spot but the last one isn’t always a behold in that situation. The issue of where the guaranteed event crew in an event 10-pack, the 4*/5* crew in a regular 10-pack, or the featured 4*/5* crew in a Tuesday pack show up - at the beginning or at the end - is somewhat of a mystery. Is it purely a quirk of how the pack results are displayed or is it a result of special programming that governs how each of the ten positions are calculated to produce a given crew or schematic?
If it’s a simple display quirk, then it stands to reason that there is a calculation to determine what rarity level will appear (limited by event/theme or just all 4*/5* portal pool crew), a calculation for straight drop vs. behold, and a final calculation for who/what actually is awarded - then rinse and repeat with the other nine items, opened up to include the full regular portal pool plus the pack-specific crew.
If the ten items are listed in the exact order in which they were calculated, it suggests that the first position has an additional initial check to determine if it will award a random portal pool item or a pack-specific item, with the final position doing an IF check and forcing a pack-specific drop if one did not occur in the first position. This approach seems way convoluted...not that I progressed much beyond rudimentary HTML programming and therefore don’t have any expertise upon which to base such a conclusion.

Thank you @Shan. And unless I'm mistaken, there are now enough schematics to actually build to the first level. A much appreciated change!
It was a really nasty surprise when I skipped the rura penthe guy and he turned out to have exactly the ship ability I desperately need.
*points to the Starfleet Comminications thread.
More like "Shackled to Our Devices" am I right?

True, but I find his stats so disturbing. He's the first Kim with no Eng... That just... doesn't feel right...
I have to admit, I like the Prakesh better...
Yeah, this Kim’s stats are so bland, if not outright bad. Blah skill set, blah bases, blah proficiencies. Blah blah blah.
