I like to so my battles at DS9 because there is so much action...passes by the station itself from different angles, the worm hole opening and closing, close calls with civilian ships.
It's funny how Geordi is still strapped into that chair during the mission dialogue. If you guys are so committed to saving the prisoners, at least take him out of that thing.

And whatever you do do not let him near any engineering panels that show the Enterprise shield modulation frequency.
This is like a never ending cycle of getting chrons for farming and then intel from the farming. I've have immortalized so many characters in my backlog (including Armed Georgiou from the previous event). It feels nice to finally start clearing out some of those 1* characters, which I admit to holding since they are technically more rare than the 2*s.
So, we're supposed to rescue the prisoners trapped aboard that Keldon class ship, right? The one we've blown up numerous times? I hope we remembered to beam them out.
That's become a running joke with skirmish. Last one, Archer says "can't wait to get my hands on the Ent-E, please try not to get a scratch on her", before we blew it up. 😂

Seems everyone wants that legendary....
I know i would...😁😁😁😁
That, and the honor/chron rewards are simply awesome. I’ve got 866,700 VP right now (good enough for 832nd place) and have racked up 15,000-20,000 honor and probably about 6,000 chrons. The chrons has been somewhat of a surprise, since I spent 7,000 on Friday night (shopping for some Galaxy items as well as 3*/4* components I was low on) but have made 5,000 back since then (plus the thousand-ish I earned on Thursday and Friday morning)...and still have over 41,000 intel I have no way of getting rid of in the next 40 minutes.
Tapped out of chrons and intel. Final score of 1.8 mil. I kinda wanted to finish in the top 100 for the achievement despite the achievement being only 2000 merit, but I did get a lot of this event.
Congrats to Smelly for his top ranking. According to my math, he would have done around 1.5 million rounds to get his final score of 9.1 mil. (assuming 6k a round and not taking into account the bonus VP). That's impressive.

Your digits are off. At 6k/round it's 1500 rounds. Even at 6,100 VP/round(assuming some random vp drops), we're talking 1,492 rounds. If it took 4 minutes a round that would mean 4.14 days playing non-stop. So either he did a lot better than 6,100/round or a lot faster than 4 minutes/round.

You can finish 1 skirmish ticket within 120-135 seconds, depending on ur connection and ship set up.
Final rank 169 - so I overcooked that slightly, but once I saw I was hovering around the hundreds on the weekend I figured I'd keep pushing just for research purposes. So. Many. Battles. It's kind of lucky that people assume if I'm behind the counter tapping away at a pad I must be working. Anyway, good to know I can do that if I have to, but I think I'll stick to the basic threshold.

This sounds more like it to me. I’m at around 130/140 seconds, but there are a few crew members I don’t have finished. I wish people would be careful when making projections! A small mistake in your estimate can throw everything out.

At least when you go overboard in a Skirmish, you end up with a pantsload of honor and chrons...in a Galaxy you end up with no components and a Faction drains you of all your boosts.
Comments
1m VP is a little too high imho. Last full skirmish 1.500 cut off was ~ 700k.
Expect it to be higher this event, but not anywhere close to 1m.
Yes, it goes back to 1 and ramps back up. You will not lose any intel when the phase changes, but it all goes away when the event ends.
Thanks. I just remember there was an event where a million was needed, but I don't recall.
Good call!
Also a good choice
I've been thinking the same thing.
Here’s where rank 1000 is currently.

Ha!!! Totally caught him in a contradiction

What else is new?
That is the best I could see to 1000.

I've been there; I feel your pain. I missed one by 3 once.
