Yeah, I have already started defrosting my Picards & Liaison Torres. Too many to do all at once. Fortunately I have a few Duplicate 4* Picards in the freezer. These are the times having duplicates is an asset to the game!

These are the times that I best appreciate that approach, of having duplicates of event or main-cast crew. I am not yet at that point of wanting to switch my resources from non-FE crew to duplicates, though.
I made that choice long ago, and I will not “change horses in the middle of the stream,” so to speak. I am happy with how I play the game, but I am always open to others’ suggestions for improvement. 🖖🏻

Don't let me discourage all of you from buying event packs, but don't forget... We'll be getting a citation from the campaign that can be used to finish Detmer.
Personally, I'll probably still buy the pack so I can use that citation on someone else.

I completely agree! Even more because most of the Picards are Legendaries, and I have incredibly none of them! I only have, in my huge roster Admiral Picard 3/4 100%.
Would Galen, Robin Hood or any other Picard's variants count as bonus crew?
Though I've been around almost 1.5 years now, I only have 2 Legendary Picards (so many of his variants are Legendary) so this event will show a bigger difference between very long-term players and newer ones. I think there's value in having some events show that difference more than others, to make players feel there is some value in their long-term commitment.
Being a 3-year-player I can tell you I only have one Legendary Picard of them all: Mirror Picard, and he was a recurrent crew on a Megaevent, so do feel lucky.

With the new reward format I always ensure I finish top-1500 ahead of faction and skirmish events, knowing I'll have the opportunity to add a star to my new 1/5 crew (using dil to get event packs). I don't worry so much about doing more than clearing thresholds ahead of galaxy or hybrid events, as a way of managing my crew.

Bonus 1* Ensign Picard beats top non Bonus COM.
Bonus 1* Musketeer Picard edges out Bonus 4* TommyGun Dixon.
Bonus 1* Assimilated Torres is my best ENG.
Anyone have any guesses as to whom/if the $9.99 offer might be this week?
I'm hoping Enterprise-E Picard. (for $4.99) or Assimilated Torres.
