Blood Oath Jadzia? A version of Dax that does not have Astrophysicist? (or Exobiologist, but that is anouther topic.)
Also, if only Jadzia Dax is bonus, can we assume that Ezris and Kurzon Odo are not going to be event crew?
I thought it was standard that Ezris and Zhian'tara Odo are classified as variants of Jadzia, for event purposes. In any case, as best I recall, Mirror Ezri Tigan has always been excluded as a Dax since she didn't host the symbiont. That just leaves 1* Desert, 3* Sniper, and 4* Waitress. Which, in turn, brings me back to my lobbying for more Ezri.
Usually the notes from DB say "versions of Dax" and make a note that Ezris and ZOdo are included. Mirror Ezri too even though shes not technically a Dax symbiant. This is the first time I've noticed it say Jadzia specifcally.
But I have to say...thirteen Worf variants and none of them have any skill other than CMD/DIP/SEC. For the love of God, please throw in some tertiary ENG or something. Eagerly awaiting Midwife Worf with huge MED.
Congratulations. You are fully dilated to ten centimeters. You may now give birth.

The problem is, Worf never really did anything in the way of ENG or SCI. Hell, he barely did anything in the way of DIP. Totally down for Midwife Worf, though. Depending on stats, I might even be tempted to buy him in the Honor Hall.
Had to look up Arjin, 'cause I completely forgot who that was. He's the Trill initiate that Jadzia is evaluating for the symbiont program. (He's also a specialist in astrophysics.)

He looked after Spot like a champ... Caregiver with MED isn't a far stretch.... a soundbite of "SPOT, COME HERE!" would be clutch too

It's a stretch, but if he also has the soundbite of "...I will *feed* him", then I'm in.

Aye, but when has that ever stopped DB? AoS Riker has ENG and all he did was read off a scroll and give the computer an order. Could find a hundred other examples, but in a game where skills and traits are as wildly inconsistent as they are, I think it's worth it to throw a bone to a beloved character.
I don't even disagree with his current variants, but the Worf character did explore his spirituality as much as anyone over the years, give him MED for that. MED for delivering a child or for Death Ritual Worf. SCI for his looking into Duras' "molecular-decay detonator" or Kahless' genetic identity. ENG for fiddling with the Iconian technology in "Contagion". SCI or ENG for Commando Worf infiltrating Celtris III. SCI for the time-traveling 'Parallels' Worf. And that's just TNG.
All I'm saying is, DB can make characters as rich as they want to. In a world where Resistance Neelix has 1,000 SEC for running away and getting shot in the back, Worf deserves a little better.

The notes get written by Shan. There are human mistakes that get made all the time. We all use Dax and Jadzia interchangeably in our heads. I wouldn't assume any change from the note saying Jadzia instead of Dax.
Why do so many veterans say galaxy golds are unobtainable? I have 65K chronitons. 10K chronitons and no stockpile would get you a gold. It does take some time investment, but you don't have to watch the time or set alarms.
I’m in the same boat as the others - a very healthy stockpile of most items and 30k+ chrons means I could rank in any Galaxy event if I wanted to. But I don’t. Probably 130k-160k VP for me and then I am done.
But I have to say...thirteen Worf variants and none of them have any skill other than CMD/DIP/SEC. For the love of God, please throw in some tertiary ENG or something. Eagerly awaiting Midwife Worf with huge MED.

I can think of a couple of DS9 episodes. The defiant is stranded somewhere and they have to build some sort of torpedo to destroy the ships after them. He's in charge in this scene but he could easily be CMD/ENG/SEC if DB wishes. I already have a name: Stranded Worf.
There's also an episode with Worf hacking the computer of a Klingon ship I think? I don't remember that one well, it's been so long.
Finally, there's the USS Hataway episode where Worf definitely does ENG stuff.

Jadzia, Ezri, and Zhian'tara Odo are all Daxes, but not all Daxes are each of those three characters. It's been a while, but Ezri variants had their own event in 2016 and Jadzia had her own in 2017.
It makes sense to exclude the four Ezri variants + Odo in this case since none of them are astrophysicists, while the majority of Jadzias are.

Ok, so my super secret strategy for getting the gold in a Galaxy is: clear thresholds without cashing in the specials. That will generally give you enough points to stay top 1500 when you cash in during phase 2. I try and do all actual work in phase 1, though some do everything in phase 2. It is just to avoid playing for low rewards twice...
I play at work

Or how bout when he delivered Keiko’s baby? “That delivery was very orderly”
So, I'm not particularly enamored with Lt Cmdr Icheb in the current event (he's fine, but just doesn't add anything to my roster), but now that I know the next target is AoS Worf, I have a dilemma.
Do I continue to not care about Icheb (I'm ranking in the low 2000's right now in faction) OR do I pursue Icheb and level him up to make getting Worf easier? Normally the answer to this is a simple "yes", but in this case, I would give serious consideration to airlocking Icheb after the galaxy event. That would be a first for me (airlocking a FE'd 5* card).
The galaxy grind doesn't bother me and I have plenty of chrons, so getting Worf can be done with or without Icheb. There's also the potential to add a second star to Icheb in the wrap-up packs (in which case I would keep him). Hmm, decisions.
PS - put me down for giving Worf something other than just cmd-dip-sec skills. For a character that spanned one and a half series, he might have the most boring stat profile in the game.

I do the same thing and usually end up around 1200.
Advice to others, don’t unthaw too may crew, you only need 4 or 5 crew to do well in a Galaxy. And with Picard & #1 that everyone should have at 3* by now it should be easy to rank up there... providing you have the Chron & time to grind it out.

Definitely this. I counted that I had 23 purple crew in the freezer that could have been used for shuttles, but I didn't thaw any of them, and was still able to send out 6 shuttles at a time the whole first half, with no fails – ever. I even froze my extra copy of Mirror Burnham right after the galaxy portion started.
... bought that 1st one. I'm with ~peregrine: Assumptions, assumptions! Tsk, Tsk!
But regardless: even a lowly 2/5 'pup-card' will make your life distinctly ecstatic! (It did mine!)
I wasn’t trying imply people would have purchased any additional Picard’s (although I did in week #1 of the Mega), just saying by week three anyone who is serious about the game will earn a third Picard by the second day of the event.
