Same here. I submitted a ticket about the missing Convergence Day pull around 5 hours after it was supposed to appear. Support told me there is no definite date when it will be granted to specific game accounts but I’ll receive it within the previously announced dates.

So support doesn't know what's supposed to happen and is making things up by misreading the announcement.
Had to remind them that yesterday was the 16th. And that some players had the pack while others don't. You know the very thing I put the ticket in about......

Yeah, pretty much. I really wonder how badly I want that behold now … they’re cards that whenever I’d finish them they’ll go to the freezer anyway.
I have to admit I really disappointed in this event. Requiring Crew that is only available via getting a top placing in events just **tsk tsk**. In the 7 years playing this game I have never managed to get a top 1500 placing in the events always getting sniped, as I have to work during the end of the events! It just feels like this complete event is pay to win, they could have given top 10,000 1* of the require crew to make things happen. So annoying having an event I cannot really take part in, so annoying I cannot just dismiss the banner and ignore the whole thing as this is not for me. Who know who is its for as it not like I am not a paying play who is vip 13. I already have have a fully fused level 100 Fascination Lwaxana so the one crew I could do I have to waste my time doing again.
I really wonder why I still play this game, the rate legendaries are minted and the lack of legendary availability means, I am probably never going to get 1 of each crew! Its so stupid however 1/2 the crew in this game is "legendary".
A suggestion: for galaxy events and skirmish events, you don't need to play the last day. In fact, you just need time other days. This last event, I only played 1 day and got top 750. I just put in lots of time that day.

This thread, as it has continued, has finally given more details from the community that caused me to search for a missing piece of information. The announcement of “convergence 2024” and “convergence 2” mega arc schedule with crew layout in the communication section here.
Im going to go out on a limb and make a guess that it is highly likely many players did not get this message in there box. Because I did not.
It appeared, looking at the event screen, that only Ulis was a 4*. Since the bulk were not yet searchable in the vault, I mis-understood that the cards needed through mega arc were all gold except Ulis. It does seem to give a sequence that includes several 4*. @AviTrek finally stating “thats what your missing” was helpful in causing me to search what I was missing.
I retract any irrelevant statements above. They were based only on lack of information. Previous history made it believable only the top 1500 rank would get what is needed.
Also I would imagine that Nancy or STT Community is monitoring this thread. Maybe had someone realized there is mass confusion that is not making sense, and stepped in with a clarification or link to the communications it may have been helpful.

I think I mentioned somewhere in this thread a good thing that would have avoided some of the confusion and upset.
In a variation on the normal format of the Mega Event Announcement, this Announcement probably should have listed the Rarity of each new Crew, since there is this kind of OE attached to the Mega. Then, people would not be seeing two of the three known needed Crew were Legendaries, feel like it was going to require mostly Legendaries to complete.
And, I also wanna apologize again, on top of the first apology I made to a specific forum member if I came across as mean, short-tempered, or otherwise rude to anyone else when I was trying to explain things!

For a Galaxy I farm 1000 trophies if I'm thinking of top 750. It usually works. I do have the luxury of being able to play Monday mornings if I need to fine tune my score.
Skirmishes are harder. Pick a bracket and pound the one above it. There's only so many points you can score on a Monday morning so if you go to sleep on Sunday with a high score you'll be okay.
I understand it is three 1/5 just for doing nothing. COP Sisko and two beholds.
Four 1/5 just for doing the minimum I normally do in events.
A 4/5 for doing a little bit in the events.
Three more copies of COP Sisko for merging and levelling the Mega reoccuring 4/5 above.
That is two 4/5 crew for this mega with minimum effort. We have never had that before.
We also have extra stars for the Four 1/5 if we put the effort in, and rank, and possibly use one citation.
I just need to decide whether to go for a second Saru.
With quipment now, I think dupe crew are a thing of the past?, although looks like I will be getting a 3rd elder

Saru seems to be dupe-worthy often. I did a second Saru with the Med, IIRC. Back during my Med struggle. Was the one from when he evolved? Some Word in his language starting with a "V"?
Dang it. I actually looked for the "Crew" Wiki page tab.....

EDIT-EDIT: I wonder if I should open some Quipment Slots on both copies for the next Disco Mega.....
EDIT-EDIT-EDIT: I never finished the second one?!?!?
You should really get human saru finished, although by this time there are better crew now
Returning & human are the best
The OE has been in the Event Hub for several days, and shows all the Objectives. Including the 4 🌟 Fusion ones.
I couldn't see anything in the Event Hub that tells me those are Purples. Well, WRG is excellent at communication, as always. Though usually more friendly than people in here, apparently. Well, thanks for making a bad game day even worse, I guess mostly staying away from this place is still as good a decision as it has been in the last months.
All the information on new crew was given in the in game messages with the mega event announcement.
New crew & old.
I've already unlocked the slots for qubits on the old crew where it matters

I keep getting swamped by the "newest & {hopefully} bestest" Crew. I need to work him up.
I did accidentally somehow start a second Spock as T'Pring. Not even sure how I did that. I don't remember PLANNING a second one.

as I said, with the contimuum now upon us, I don't think there is the need really for duping crew - unless they come across in campaigns
you can boost good crew so much, what is the point? hell, event crew themselves are even becoming outranked by existing crew

If you have been playing for 7 years and can’t break into the top 1500 then I can only think you have been a very casual player, which is fine if that’s your thing. The cost of your playing style is that some Objective events might be a real challenge for you.

I'm a long-term player and still have to work to make top 750 {which is what people actually need to do to get two copies of the Legendary} in Galaxy. And this is a game, not a job.

Here is the trick: set a goal and go to it. In general, a galaxy event should aim for 650K victory points. Just go for that number and you'll be fine. In most.cases that will get you top 750. It should always be top 1500. Skirmish is harder. I don't know the right numbers since I either go all in or just to thresholds.
The convergence day event thing is still pretty very pay to win IMHO, either your over play events (costing money) to get a top ranking or it appears to need to pull packs from the portal for a 1% chance to get the card needed (the rest are just filler).

You do not need to pay any money to finish high enough in events. I'm completely FTP and regularly finish in the top 500, which is more than good enough for these purposes. It's entirely about how much time you're willing and able to put in, and you really don't need anywhere near as much of that as people seem to be implying here.
For me, it's all about how much I want next week's legendary. Under normal circumstances I would have not bothered with Dak'rah. No interest in the character and nothing particularly special about them in-game, coupled with this week being a skirmish that you absolutely don't need the legendary for, means that ordinarily I'd have hit threshold and stopped there. But it was a "two for one special" with Tuvok so I went for it and finished more than high enough, with no money spent and plenty of time left over to make the most of my weekend.
The point is, there's nothing special about me. If I can do this at will playing FTP then anybody can. Don't get me wrong, I'm just as happy if people can't be bothered, it means less competition for the rest of us. But just stop with the meaningless excuses. The only reason you don't finish high enough in events is that you don't play the game enough. End of discussion.

Scott, I didn’t suggest that the poster of the comment I was responding to should change their playing style, just that it was likely to make some Objective events more challenging. I was purely trying to provide a bit of balanced feedback as their post was very negative towards the Objective event and the game in general, which I felt was over the top.

I agree that some of the hatred for an OE that gives almost everyone a shot at FIVE Legendaries is kind of intense, for sure.
Well, The Sisko is a giveaway in the Portal. So, before they jump me for saying "five", let me change it "four Legendaries and extra 🌟 s for The Sisko".....
"The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself."
Taking aside the fact, that you need to work to score top750, there are only that many places to get 2 legendaries. The rest, scoring 751+ has to pay for citations.

And those ranking 1501+ either need to spend dilithium (with a lot of luck) or cash, before they can use their citation. It's the first OE that is gated by other players, compounded across 5 events. There will only be a couple hundred players at most that wind up clearing this OE naturally, having placed in the top 750 for 5 straight events.

The completion rewards are tiny. This event wasn't designed to complete everything. It was designed to let you earn what you want.
Everyone earns one copy of the new 5* by fusing the 4* crew. If they miss out of the 1500 rank, they can still use 4 cites to finish the crew. If they rank under 1500 they get a second copy by leveling the rank reward. They can then spend one cite on the rank to get a second oe crew, and then 2 more on the OE crew if they want. And if they rank under 750 then they use 2 cites to finish the crew.
But regardless of rank there is nothing blocking a player from getting every crew in the OE and finishing them.
Compare that to the FBB oe that requires dil to complete.
Players need to stop focusing on "completing" all objectives and instead focus on what they earn for each step.

Well said.
My life became much easier once I accepted just finishing what I can finish in an OE. Especially the one with the Gauntlet thing. I stopped stressing over not always getting a 4 🌟 Cite. As for the FBB OE, I never stressed over it, and never spent Dilithium or cashy folding money to get a few extra Valor.

people still seem to don't get that this OE isn't 100% legendaries
Mr Homm, N. Thug & Migleemo are all purples. Take in the fact that the next 2 events involve community rewards & you'd have to put in very little effort to get th remaining 1 needed
so you are pretty much guaranteed at least 1copy of T'pol - who is gauntlet so you only need 1 copy anyway - Kashyk & Elder Saru

I was just pointing out how few players can actually complete this OE without spending dil/cash. Others previously said in this thread that all it takes is effort to finish the OE, and that is the point I'm refuting, since there are other limitations beyond effort and desire that will ultimately prevent more than a couple hundred players at most from being able to complete the OE.
I had the same observation/complaint about the FBB OE you mentioned, which was the first OE that could not be completed just by playing the game with more effort than usual during non-event days. I just prefer events and OEs that are challenging, require time and effort, that are actually possible to complete without spending (dil/cites/cash), and are independent of other players.
so don't spend cash/dil/cites(which you get from campaigns or honor sales - meaning you are not supporting the game & then complain about how terrible it is & how unfair it is that they fired all the staff?
(nothing wrong with being FTP)

That WAS the standard for Gauntlet Crew. However, now a 1 🌟 Gauntlet "powerhouse" is going to lose constantly to the Immortalized ones, that people have fully Quipped.....

Yeah, pretty much. I really wonder how badly I want that behold now … they’re cards that whenever I’d finish them they’ll go to the freezer anyway.
A suggestion: for galaxy events and skirmish events, you don't need to play the last day. In fact, you just need time other days. This last event, I only played 1 day and got top 750. I just put in lots of time that day.

With quipment now, I think dupe crew are a thing of the past?, although looks like I will be getting a 3rd elder
You should really get human saru finished, although by this time there are better crew now
Returning & human are the best
All the information on new crew was given in the in game messages with the mega event announcement.
New crew & old.
I've already unlocked the slots for qubits on the old crew where it matters
I didn't even notice they did list the Rarities!
Thanx!

Well, most were duped before the Continuum Missions were launched, IIRC.

(nothing wrong with being FTP)
