I'd rather cite Lwaxanna, Tuvok, Sisko.

1. You can’t give Phlox that much security. He only has two Quipment that alter his Sec Roll.
2. Most people I run into aren’t using Quipment.
3. You can maximize your crew and still get owned. I maxed out SEC on TKK a couple weeks ago and still lost a mirror match to an unQuiped TKK.
4. One thing i noticed if you go nuts on Quipment you’ll burn out your credits. Which doesn’t sound like a big deal but it is when you’re going from one retrieval every 8 days to one every 6 days.

Simple explanation. I had the wrong Skill. It's his Med people are cranking. My bad. Since the Quipment also increases the minimum roll value, it also boosts that number. Which was low to begin with to kinda balance or offset the high maximum roll value. So, he can be a Med powerhouse now.

A suggestion: for galaxy events and skirmish events, you don't need to play the last day. In fact, you just need time other days. This last event, I only played 1 day and got top 750. I just put in lots of time that day.
Here is the trick: set a goal and go to it. In general, a galaxy event should aim for 650K victory points. Just go for that number and you'll be fine. In most.cases that will get you top 750. It should always be top 1500. Skirmish is harder. I don't know the right numbers since I either go all in or just to thresholds.
I didn't read this until after the Skirmish but I checked for the Galaxy.
With 8 hours to go I was in 610 place with about 650k points. At the end of the event 750 was around 840k points
Never, ever aim for a point total and your goal is always the next bracket or two higher than what you want. After your get past thresholds just keep chipping away and try to maintain a healthy lead over 750.
I scored 910k pts this event. Higher than what was needed but I easily coasted to what I wanted.
I was already at the point of having a second McCoy at 1/5. This gives me a 2/5 McCoy. He will have no shortage of shuttle work. This is an immortalized begold that isn't bad.
All three were giveaways. That's why so many people have them FF. That's also why they added the new oe because they realized giving away the same crew again and again causes this problem.
Also according to https://www.bigbook.app/ the retrieval odds for Bones are decreasing so now may be a good opportunity to get him if you don’t have him or still need copies.
Do we know what day the convergence mega pack is going on sale at the end of the event? Are they likely to put it on sale while the Convergence Day OE is still happening?
I'd really like to know if we will be able to use that 490 dil mega pack to pad out our convergence day objective event rewards, or if I need to be putting a small fortune into getting the legendaries I missed with the following week's event packs.

I bought a couple more packs yesterday and fortunately go another Maab. Today, I got Scorpion Tendi in my first pack. Will fusing a Maab or Tendi with a gold citation "count" towards the fusing criteria to satisfy the milestone?

No he isn't. He's MED/SCI/SEC.
Indeed. And she can quip both the Advanced Workout and the Kir'Shara quipment. Gauntlet is gonna be a lot more interesting.

Yeah, high probability on that combo. Two great Crew and a Paris that was {IIRC} a Mega Recurring.....
