If Archer is featured in the last mega event I am deeply screwed. He persona never seem to drop for me enough to FF, even the ones that have been out forever like Mirror Archer and haven't leveled any.
2* Away Team Archer is the exception to both of those of course and I did FF COP Founder Archer while chasing Defencive Phlox.

The good thing is after the season (and mega event) of discovery is over, there shouldn’t be one until the fall when season 2 starts

I thought the main story arc in Enterprise was that Romulans had infiltrated and secured top positions in Vulcan hierarchy and part of that was revealed inelegantly in fourth season only. It sort of explained retroactively that most vulcans we had seen in series were really Romulans....
The biggest problem TOS lay on door of future series was that no one knew what Romulans looked like not even Vulcans....
Something not possible having fought a war already in TOS story....
I admit that I like Discovery. I am not sure it is good Star Trek but it is a good show.
I think Shras Endilev is a very good choice and I was hoping he'd be offered but another Burnham? I am not so thrilled about that. I am sure there will be better choices for new Burnham's in the future and really... we already have enough and I wish they had gone with someone different like Lt. Commander Airiam, Lieutentant j.g. Joann Owosekun. Lieutenant Keyla Detmer, or Lieutenant B.A. Bryce even though they haven't had big rolls on the show as of yet. They are all cool in their own way.
Sarek is cool............... esp. if he is free I like both the new version of him and the older version

Spock, we were told, was never intended to be released, so it's unlikely he'll ever see the light of day.
