This thread needs a <PAUSE> button. Until DB let's us know what their solution is and when it's implemented (and I assume it will be the laborious but necessary process of reversing purchases made with the dilithium) all we have is speculation and shouting into the wind.

I've got no problem at all giving room to work, but this can't just be forgotten about.
This cannot be pushed aside and "reviewed internally" with no answers, glib answers or a standard "we apologize for the inconveniences" message.
If we accept getting no answers for -this- of all things then we can never expect any for anything else that may ever happen.
This is the line in the sand.
This is the minimum level of standard I expect.
I can accept a server crashing.. computers be computers
I can accept the wrong character in a pack or missing from a pack..

But when a game breaking error, that I personally cannot fathom actually being a simple error (sabotage) which gives out free Dilithium to anyone who pulled from it every time, happens..
The community cannot accept this being forgotten about.
"Unfortunately we cannot discuss how this happened" will be not be accepted.

If they decide that’s their answer there’s not a single thing we can do to change that so it has to be accepted.
Of course we have the option of quitting the game, but that is not going to make any difference at all to DB. Existing players quit and new players join every day. They’ve already told us that the entire population of the forum is a fraction of a percentage of the total number of players playing the game. Every single person who posts on the forum could quit and it would be barely noticeable to their bottom line.
So we can scream and we can stamp our feet and we can have a fit and whatever answer they give us is going to be the answer.
While I agree in large part with what you say Althea, and acknowledge that DB holds most of the cards, you make it seem like we're powerless, and I think there are ways we can pressure DB, especially if those of us who spend (and those who don't tbh) organize with each other. Screaming and stamping our feet will not accomplish anything, certainly, but coordinated campaigns across multiple communication platforms with our various fleets might. It might not, but I don't think it's helpful to be defeatist. Certainly doing nothing will accomplish nothing.
The solution from DB better be FANTASTIC. This error is too huge to put out a 250 sorry chrons and move on from like nothing happened. I am pissed off. DB has A LOT of my money and now that money spent doesn't mean a damn thing.
