Personally I'm fine with Minuet's stats - happy to collect her, but - like T'Kuvma - I'll not cite her. If a fifth copy of her pops out of the portal in the future, she'll likely head towards the freezer.
Not every card has to be a powerhouse, sometimes they can just be fun. I can understand the frustration if crew space is at a premium though - 5*s aren't fun to airlock given the low drop rates.
Minuet isn't even useful on my VIP0 account. She's basically the same as the 5* Changeling Founder, which is considered a crap launch card. The choices being made come across as totally schizophrenic sometimes. This coming on the back of the top engineering card in game last mega makes little sense.

I had been saving up my honor but I agree. I have Borg Queen 4/5 and may just go ahead and use the honor on her...will be far more useful.

With Minuet being worse than any previous recurring mega character, I can’t think of a better way for DB to drop a wet blanket on the enthusiasm everyone had for this mega event.
As previously mentioned, she might have an outstanding ship ability, but DB won't give us those ahead of time. That is also a failure in the new pre-reward system

I want to know what's next week's RANKED 5* (not event crew 5* which is Guinan), so I know if it's worth considering Guinan even though I don't want her, just to be more competitive next week.
I think this would all have been better if there were a different event type week 4. For Minuet, I agree with you - if her ship ability is non-existent, then I don't know what to do with her. I was referring to Gloria in terms of gauntlet value.

Sounds like some confusion here. Minuet is the complete stinker with only two skills, although her DIP proficiency makes her roughly equal to the Changeling Founder that almost nobody uses when no traits match. Gloria has three skills but the proficiency rolls are so low that she is only useful in the two Guinan-specific gauntlets where all her variants get a 65% critical chance.
Each and every one of those crew is so, so, so disappointing... I may actually just freeze Minuet and I do not really freeze any 5*'s
Same boat. I can't find a single character on my roster that she will edge out, ever. So even with a "Super Duper Poly Yar" ship ability, her value and utility are still suspect.
However, I'm only freezing Minuet if I can even be convinced to keep 4 copies of her and waste 50,000 honor that would make a bigger difference on practically anybody else. There's a not small chance she'll just be, at most, 2200 honor by the time October is over.

All of the new crew are underwhelming. Stats are as mediocre as can be. As far as artwork, Nog & Gloria are very good, Minuet is I think a little cartoonish, and Bev is just "okay", imo. But even ignoring the stats and the art, none of them are particularly appealing to me as characters, anyway. This mega is starting out as a total snoozefest.

Ugh, Minuet. Man, I was really looking forward to her; I mean, she looks great and has a great assortment of traits even but 2, TWO skills! And they’re not even quite right skills either. Diplomacy, great. I expected and actually wanted that, and I can even go with Com, but just the TWO?! No Eng or Sci?!! Why?!?!! God in heaven, WHY?
Ok, I apologize if I seem so upset about some pixels on a screen. I dunno, it’s just that you expect so much, especially when DB is actually on a good roll for once, giving us all a Tux Nog and he being a decent sort of chap to use and all. And I have to say, from what I’ve seen, the art is great; all these crew look fantastic, especially Nog and next week’s Guinan, but sheesh, then they go and dump Minuet on us with TWO friggin’, boring stats. It’s all just really disheartening.
I’m through ranting now. Seriously I’m really done this time. Again, sorry. Just felt the need to blurt that all out to the community. I’m certain at least some of you understand and feel my pain.

Don’t worry about it! With so many uninspiring 5* crew just dropping it is completely understandable to get them mixed up.
