  • I know what you mean about the last minute push. I dont usually go for the ranked rewards in a galaxy or hybrid, but I dont have ANY Guinans and I wanted one; also, with disappointing stats, I thought the push for her might be less than usual.

    HA!

I did get her, finishing up in the 700s, and that after being in what I thought was the safe zone of the low 400s several times in the final 8 hours, only to drop into the 1200s and have to climb back up again.

I won't be going after Data, though; I already have several 5* Data's ( FE if not FF) and I simply don't have the chrons to go after him in a galaxy. I burned all my reserves for Guinan.

It's going to be threshold and out for me.

Hopefully Data will be easier as there are so many people who seemed to have burned out all their resources this time and out sitting the next one out...

    ... or are they lying???

I almost cleared thresholds with running a crazy number of faction missions outside my normal routine. I only needed to craft a few items to clear them in phase 2 and then I got out of the way as expected this to be chaos.

A good strategy I often employ. In this case, however, I wanted Worf, whom I didn't have. So I went for and achieved top 2000.

I had him at 3/4 and the 4th came with the community rewards. That gave me the easy choice to sit it out and enjoy a weekend. The new event system seemed to work as I anticipated this weekend as the chroniton stockpiles will start to diminish one event at a time.

Yikes, that was an intense event, with much higher scores than anticipated. After doing really well in phase-1, I decided to go for my first top-100 finish. I burned through about 8,000 chronitons (started with 7k + voyages) + 700 sorrytons - all with an active supply kit - and managed to wind up 92nd!

The silly part is that with another galaxy following the hybrid, and with my chroniton stockpile depleted, I feel like it was a complete waste getting Gloria. I'm probably going to go threshold-and-out this week, which means last week's ranked 5* is still useless and I won't be getting this week's ranked 5* for next week's faction mission, when the new 5* might actually be useful.

At least I got my top-100 achievement and the 2k merits that comes with it. One of my premium pulls gave me a 4th star to immortalize Kurn, so that was decent too.

@Webberoni. Once the Chroniton stashes have been burnt through, a player in your situation won't need 8k chronitons to place top 1000 for one week. You will be able to save up and compete back to back with that amount because everyone will be in the same boat and not everyone will be competing full tilt every week.

I have no issue competing for top-1000 - I used that many chrons to rank 92 (top 100).

The chron issue will never be resolved, as established players will always have a distinct advantage. They get more per voyage and have less (no) crew to level during the week.

They should have some advantage for having played longer and invested more. I just think all those 10k plus stockpiles will disappear gradually as every event will now cost twice as much in terms of resources.

I hope not @Average Guy. Twice as much cost for events without DB upping the level of rewards is a sure way to get less people to care about playing in them, and those events are money makers for DB
HIGH RANKING, HIGHLY SEXY FLEET SEEKS HOT & ACTIVE PEOPLE FOR SOME FUN PLAY.

Have you been naughty? Playing with yourself again? Has another fleet touched you in bad ways? Don’t worry, we will train you…. Gently. Light bondage only. Bring your own handcuffs, though…. We don’t supply them.

We’re not those other guys. Here we shower often, and we treat our members like family.
We know how to whip some serious tail, yet no one is left to shiver out in the cold. If you need advice, help, strategy, tips or anything at all…. I and my officers are here to help you.

Currently, we're looking for more good people to enjoy the game with us, and we offer a TON to our members, in return. We prefer level 50 members and above. Lower level players than this will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

We use the DISCORD app for all our fleet chats (it's free). We're much better organized than many other top-tier fleets in the game, while a heck of a lot more relaxed and much more fun to be a part of. I have numerous other former fleet Admirals who joined me, and we have a world of knowledge and experience to share with you. Sure, we all love the game, and we enjoy playing it often; but we're also a fun family of kooky friends from around the world, who enjoy playing the game together. On top of playing, we also hang out often and share plenty of good laughs, an excellent supportive environment and one another's company.

It's OK if you don't play every day. You don’t have to be a daily player, but the more you play the more fun you’ll have with us. So long as you let me know ahead of time whenever you know you're going to be offline from the game for five days or more, I won't kick you for inactivity. You can send me that message on DISCORD at any time you need to; it takes only a moment. That rule helps keep our fleet as active as possible.

All Captains MUST have a name other than just “Captain” so that others may recognize you. We have no drama, but instead are a close-knit group of good people who treat each other as if we’re both friends & family.

WE’RE ALMOST ALL VERY HIGHLY ACTIVE, and help is never far whenever you might need it, at any stage of the game, nearly 24/7. Whatever your skill level, we can help you.

If you are interested in joining our fleet, please feel free to message me and I will be glad to assist you.

Free steak & Lobster available from our resident chef upon joining (alternate meal suggestions are possible), drinks available through our in-house bartender/barista/host. Please be sure to tip your wait staff. They're nuts, but they're worth it.
  • Here's irony for you. I went all in to get Gloria, simply because I didn't have any Guinans at all, and wanted one.

Tuesday, I got Fierce Guinan because of a Voyage Dilema...
