Sisko: What are you gonna learn in the next few months that you haven't already learned in the last 300 years?
Ezri Dax: Oh, how to keep from breaking into tears for no reason...
I feel like at this point, if we ever got an event WITHOUT any bizarre problems, I'd start to be concerned. It's almost comforting in it's familiarity at this point.
Normally I wouldn’t care about a delay to a galaxy event, except I have a supply kit I ran yesterday to help level up Danara and Chakotay and planned to use the last remaining bit of it on the start of this event and now I can’t. I’ll be submitting a ticket for that when the game is back up.
The start of this event has the worst lag/delay I've had in the game in a long time. Yikes.
An outage issue. And a proper response from DB to a problem. Guess they learned last week "Tough luck!" Is not the proper customer service or customer confidence response.
"The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself."
How many stars would Assimilated Hawk need before he's the equal of an immortal Mirror Picard on Voyages? He's basically the same skill set.
Based on some napkin math, I would think Hawk would only surpass a 5/5* Gun Show Picard’s voyage total at 5/5*. Without bonuses, 5/5* Picard is 3478 while 5/5* Hawk is 3726. If we assume there is the same ratio between 4/5* and 5/5* for these two (which is roughly the same for two other unrelated crew I checked), a 4/5* Hawk would be around 3276.
He's certainly not as good a card as mirror picard due to similar skills while not being main crew, but his very high SEC number (1817 maxed) can help with difficult voyage combos like sec/sci, sec/med more than picard.
In my crew, after hawk and HR Sisko my next highest voyage SEC would be 1690 Musketeer Picard if I ever citation him, then Temporal Chakotay... and their voyage total scores are much lower, making that magic 10 hour voyage tougher to reach. Mirror picard is only 1460 voyage SEC maxed by comparison.
Hawk is a hair ahead of Picard on total stats. However, there are far fewer high SEC options with high voyage scores compared to CMD, which makes Hawk, in my opinion, much more useful.

Thanks to all who responded. My takeaway, however, is that Hawk only becomes useful for Voyages if you plan to FF. Many of us have a 5/5 Mirror Picard from last Christmas. Since Hawk would fall further down my citation list (after a number of others, including three I just acquired — Warship EMA, Tux Sisko, Shirtless Archer), he’s not worth the effort for me.

Remember this is a long game. My 1/5 dark ages mccoy will soon be 5/5 without ever using a citation on him.

I've been playing 2.5 years. I remember the game before gauntlet, voyages, or honor. The only immortal legendary in my crew that didn't require a citation is Mirror Picard. Glad RNG was with you, but I don't count on it.

The 5 star card game is not a long game, it is a pay to have game (can say win if you want). You can never achieve enough rolls of premium packs by waiting in time for the pack rewards to even begin completing a large batch of them. If they reduce the honor cost to a reasonable amount maybe, but not likely.

I never bought an event pack for my soon to be 5/5 Dark Ages McCoy. I got him in the first event he was in and another star for him in every event he has reoccured as a ranked or threshold reward. This is the fourth event with him in it. I think I also got another star for him in a standard community reward pull a year ago. 5/5 without ever buying a pack for him. I say this not to brag, simply to say that this is a long game. Events repeat and begolds can drop from community pulls and regular pulls received in gauntlets and events. With patience and hard work can come success.

Agreed. But I think DA McCoy may have the record for being available in events. Excluding mega recurring 5*, I doubt any other 5* appeared in 4 events and been a reward in all of them. I'm not sure if another 5* has appeared 3 times.

Well played
Yes, it still does. At a rate of 80 to 90 percent of the time. So, ya know, not every time.
Yeah. I have had more <50% drop Vaccines than >50% ones. It reminds me of the Crazy Eyes Paradox

I was thinking earlier it is kind of funny. The Emergy Medical Adroid is a Hologram of an Android of a Hologram.......

Ya’all are welcome for the 45vp I’ve contributed.
Every little bit helps!
Beats my 10VP
