I will repeat again: if it had been feasible to choose another time for the start of this beta we would have done so. It was not.
It is a beta, there is no head start.
You all get the Premium Track Rewards unlocked, so may I request to focus on trying the feature first, get a feel for it, and provide constructive feedback once you have done so.
I just popped back for a minute to try and be more positive.
It's great that you guys are unlocking premium rewards for the first run. Appreciate that 👍
Also, I like that you've decided to run a test first. Players often complain about new features having bugs or other issues so I like that you have made this clear it's a test run.
I'm still quite intrigued and look forward to trying it. My alt account hasn't don't any dailies yet so it will be interesting to see if One of Seven can get further than Seven of One
Don't think I've seen it asked or explained yet, so pardon if I missed it.
What's the silver cylinder thingie in the blog post picture for tier 2? It looks like there's a gold thingie on tier 18 of the premium rewards too. Are these equippable items or some sort of new loot box I can earn 3* trainers from?
purchasing the Premium Rewards Track for real money.
Real money?? 😔
Hmph. Literally and unashamedly Pay-To-Win. And there goes my enthusiasm for this "feature" as well. At least in the other areas of the game, you can still play hard enough to grind your way near the top (occasionally). Maybe not in every Event, but if you save your resources for when there's a prize you REALLY want, you can succeed once in a while without being a whale. With this though, you have NO hope. Open your wallet or die...that's not a game feature, it's a mugging.
On the whole, I really enjoy this game, and appreciate what the Devs are trying to do, but Pay-To-Win is the kind of thing that kills games. The casual Players will get discouraged and leave, depriving DB of a large number of small customers (Monthly-Card-only buyers). While individually each may not be as valuable to DB as a whale, collectively they must represent a huge chunk of change.
Second (while I'm venting), the new layout for the Daily Rewards page is terrible. The old one, while less flashy, was more readable and you could see more of it at a time. Please revert. I understand that you changed it to fall in line with your new Campaign layout, but you might consider making the latter fit the former, rather than the other way about. Esthetics are nice, but functionality is more important. A dead Ferrari won't get you where you're going, but a running jalopy will.
Don't think I've seen it asked or explained yet, so pardon if I missed it.

Thanks... is this the same table as the gauntlet "item" drop one (i.e. RNG on chrons, equippable items, trainers, crew) or another loot table? I'm assuming that color indicates chances at progressively better rewards as in gauntlet, also?
My question is by earning 5* crew is that meant we could possibly win one by earning a single premium pull or is 5* crew itself part of the earning possibility? For instance, I see Durango Troi there. Is she a crew that’s being used for the campaign or is she the 5* crew you can win?

The silver cylinder is a Campaign Equipment Crate. The silver ones provide random equipment that is basic, common, uncommon, or rare while the Legendary Campaign Equipment Crates (the gold thingie) provide random equipment up to the legendary rarity.
Thanks for the detailed explanation, @SunshineRiker. I hate to ask, but if this is going to add more stuff to inventory, do you guys have any updates on the item cap or replicator interface that'll let us offload the junk?

We have brought it up, no update as of yet.
Your feedback will be important in that regard, so please once you have played a bit and received a few of those rewards, let us know how you feel this impacts your inventory.
Come on... that was already answered within the 2 pages of this thread, and was linked on the first page, and in the in-game mail. slow down on spamming this forum post until we can add some actual feedback guys.
i guess it would impact inventory only if new items were introduced.is that the case?
Equippable items are either general (i.e. 3* Science Lesson) or character-specific (i.e. 3* Worf's Sheriff Badge). The former, while adding bloat to your inventory, are generally OK to keep because multiple characters can use them. The latter is junk if you've already immortalized the character that item is used for.
The game sets a hard limit at 1,000 items, and after that it will begin to randomly eat things to bring you back under the cap. The only way to avoid it is to periodically clean out your junk inventory through replicating, which is unbelievably tedious as there is no way to see what the items are that you are replicating with until you a) have more than one and can tap on it or b) go to the confirm replication screen, tap on everything, and then back out if it's something you want to keep.
If you're spinning Dabo daily, getting items in event thresholds and not equipping them, and playing a lot of gauntlet, you'll accumulate more junk than you think you will. After losing several 5* citations through the inventory cap and having a long, protracted, and painful battle with CS in order to get them back, I don't even spin Dabo anymore.
Instead of redesigning the daily activities menu to introduce a new feature, DB should have taken the man hours to redesign the menu / inventory system to make this new feature NOT contribute to an already existing pain point.
I wish my name was important enough to have my question answered. :..-(
Why would there be crew "used" for the Campaign? The Campaign is just earning accolades by completing your normal daily missions.... I'm no expert but in this case Troi appears to be the top reward for the premium track
So many people commenting here before reading the actual announcement post (sorry, but I just cannot fathom why people wouldn't read the actual announcement.) I'll bite and save you your reading though.

I'm not sure I completely understand your question, but if you unlock Tier 20 in this Campaigns Beta run, you will get 1x copy of the 5* Durango Troi.
Oh, thanks all, but you know, any European player may want a time in GMT, that's why we prefer asking. You favor enough the US players, at least a time statement should be more universally-fitting. Translating that ET would mean T-12 min at this moment.

Oh nice! Thank you. May I go against the naysayers and quote Robocop as saying “I’ll buy that for a dollar”. Hate to keep pestering but is that crew a random daily thing like the 5* reward for Dabo?

I'm offended that you put me in a blanket with the US players.... J/k, I'm only partially offended, but FYI, EST, PST, etc are not U.S.A. time zones
PLUS, they have (19:00 UTC) in the announcement as well... They're being fairly inclusive
One thing I don't understand from the info provided. Is a campaign daily? Or does a campaign last a week? I know the beta for this will last a week, so does that week encompass one campaign, or will it be one campaign per day?
Yateball ... just saying, if I'd make an announcement to cover any area I'd definitely use the most universal thing possible instead of specific zones.

My 2 credits.
These are loot boxes and they will contain items.

I lol'd at the use of the non-word earnt here btw
Announcement states " The Campaigns beta will be available later today around 3:00pm ET until Wednesday March, 27 3:00pm ET (19:00 UTC)"
This is why Shan posts the announcements and then links it in the first post of this thread

We're flipping the switch at 3:00pm ET to turn on the Beta. That's about 15 minutes from right now.
