It must just be me - I'm running a Galaxy S9 (android) and play every day - and I have yet to see anything that resembles an offer wall or link to such. I have logged out and back in just to make sure, but, nope, nothing going on here. Did I miss something?

i was in the same boat and did not see the offer wall. you have to manually update the game . for some reason i thought the game auto updated but it didnt . once you update you will see the little offer wall button in the buy dilithium section .
man i really want all that free dil thesisko1 is earning from the offers lol. i just dont want to install all those apps but seeing how much hes earning by doing those offers is tempting me. then i read this thread and learn a lot about stealing data and the dangers and i cant get myself to do it.

I see you've reported it in the Engineering Room - that's the right place for these comments. Shan will see them here, but it'll distract from the issues with the Offer Wall and only slow her down as she tries to make sure she doesn't miss any important comments.
Unfortunately, only Spaniards citizens or foreign residents can make a complaint (in your personal dates, they ask for your ID card or passport), and you only can make the complaint online if you have the digital signature and you also need an special app for the digital signature from the Ministry of Finance. The burocracy here is a crazy thing.
It's still possible to make the complaint in paper format, though. But you need the specific details of the company, like the business name that uses in Spain, etc...

Thank you so much for this very constructive and helpful information. I guess I'll be making my complaint in hardcopy, but at least then there is a paper trail, which is always helpful.

But I've been complaining about this in the Engineering Room for THREE MONTHS and have gotten nothing for it. The forced update, containing the OFFER WALL they already had complaints against, has made it worse. That is why I added it to THIS thread.
They have worsened an already bad and known problem with another problem on top of it. If I had survey offers, I would fill them out and use TP's offices as my mailing address. Maybe if they got all our junkmail, they would rethink things.

This offer wall seems negligent at best and predatory at worst. I state this conclusion as a casino executive at a couple of b&m casinos. I see the irony as well. This is not a case of the pot calling the kettle. It seems a like TP/WRG made a calculation regarding the addition of this offer wall without weighing the impact on the existing, paying players and it didn't really land well. They were presented with a ready made solution to find a way to monetize the VIP0 players, the ones they feel contribute little to their bottom line. They are wrong of course. The VIP0 players ad-warp at pretty significant rates and contribute in many other tangible, valuable ways such as avid participation and encouraging others to join the game. (Full disclosure, I am VIP6.)
As Automaton_2000 stated, they are trying to make us the customer and the product. This is unacceptable, unfair, and unbecoming. I join the Big Book crew in refusing to make in-game purchases, ad-warps, or encouraging others to join the game until a verifiable, productive solution regarding the offer wall is implemented by TP/WRG. I fully support the Big Book crew in their refusing to update and make available their spreadsheets and other work in support of this game while the offer wall stays in place as a possible way to sell our data.

The original reply to my post was not taken as burn or any ill form, rather more a good natured tongue-in-cheek response
The reference to a burn, was taken as a weak attempt to rile me, which is poor behaviour, especially in this case, where the post subject is too important to make personal & affects all players.
You dont know me from Adam...so have no idea what gets me riled, so please dont try....I am not upset in slightetst. lastly, if you feel the need to try to rile - go for it, you fill your boots........
I posted a scathing review in Amazon's App Store and am looking into filing a complaint against TP through Amazon. They make their money on promoting, cost them platforms and they will notice. Complain to the app stores. Complain on social media. They live on reach and reputation. Take them both away.

Well, since we keep getting told "We don't know anything yet", and now people on some platforms {at least} are getting forced Updates to include the Offer Wall, I think we DO have our answer. Which legal agencies should we consider contacting as customers in the United States?!?!?

Sorry to wade into the conversation, but as a reader not involved in the back-and-forth, I got the impression that the 'burn' was directed at TP, for directly/indirectly making several dubious decisions (partnering with IronSource and utilizing a questionable URL shortener).
I didn't see the 'burn' being directed at you or any other poster, unless I'm grossly mistaken.... in which case, please carry on with the unnecessary public bickering...

This. I'm sorry I was unclear that the burn I was acknowledging was the one on DB/TP/WRG/WTWBCNW.
It is abundantly clear that the company that showed a decent amount of consideration for the players, has been replaced by a company who is only interested in jumping into bed with a third party with a "questionable" reputation, because all they see is the mattress stuffed with cash. There is also the "minor" issue that TP's "help" desk is listed as MALWARE. No worries about me ruining the "civility" of this thread. Y'all enjoy it......

"The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself."
The verbose TP/WRG statement that we got today doesn't really say all that much and doesn't address any concerns about what information ironSource actually does collect. Has TP/WRG actually inspected the ironSource code to verify that ironSource isn't collecting any info without player interaction? I seriously doubt it! We, the players are now placed in the position of needing to verify for TP/WRG something that should have adready been done. Today's official statement of 'we will update our Privacy Policy to fit our new business model now that we've been called out' (my take on what it said) doesn't sit well with me.
TP/WRG, you still left so many questions unanswered. I want to KNOW that if i don't interact that ironSource isn't still going to try collecting info from my device. Better yet, give me assurances that the Offer Wall will not be forced on me in a manditory update (oops, we already know you will force it on us because you've already done it to those playing on Amazon!) Our fleet has already lost a player who uninstalled rather than accepting the forced update and i don't blame them one bit. I may be joining them soon. I've already stopped all spending and ad-warps for the forseeable future.
TP/WRG, as i see it, you really dropped the ball on this one!

Now I am really upset. I once again clicked one offer and then checked the privacy settings. There is an endless list of permissions and most were checked. I unchecked them but I do not even know if by submitting I agree to the ones that are "essential". TP please clarify!
Even worse, you can't easily check this in Apple devices. How predatory.

How do I get to this then? I need to turn stuff off.
I got there from a survey site, it was only for this site. Now I only get to Yuno, their site is different, and there is no such option.

I'm glad the default is that no consent is given, but I want to know exactly what action the game considers giving consent:
Clicking in to view the list of offers on the offer wall?
Selecting an offer by tapping on the Offer button (to review the details)?
Actually accessing and completing the Offer?
Many players I think would be satisfied if only the third item actually grants consent to the third party (Ironsource) to access individual/device data. Some players might assume that doing either of the first two things, but then "backing out," would not constitute granting consent, and I'd hope that's how the current implementation works, but I want to know for sure and I think everyone else does too.

If I could “awesome” this a dozen times, I would.
I feel somewhat better after the statement, but I did look at the offers when the wall first appeared. I thought I was okay because I never clicked into a single one— but what some people were noting, I’m not sure I am truly okay.
I am perfectly fine with #3 being true as it’s the only one with implied consent, but I will remain protesting/paying $0 until we have been assured that #1 isn’t true— and those in the community I trust verify it.
The first two were based on the slowness of somel kind or any kind statement being made, and basic pre-deal due diilligence to help calm the tensions taht were rising.
These were concerns rather than questions and nothing really to be done about them.
The reminaing three questions are still open, wih the 5th being sort of - kind of partially answered by the statement, although I'm not entirely convinced to what extent. Will need to read again after a good nights sleep.
My Issues / Questions :
3. I would like to know exactly what information IronSource is able to collect and is collecting from my device if I do not use the wall
4. I would like to know exactly what information IronSource is able to collect and is collecting from my device if I use the wall
5. I would like to know what TP/WRG & IronSource are doing with my data and to whom else they are providing it.
I have raised my GDPR SAR, which is in "holding" till CS can revert back with the details.
The issues I still have are that the statement does not clarify on what IronSource is collecting. It focuses on what TP is collecting & using the data for.......sort of missed the mark in my opinion....but hey at least they said something!
As always, thank you @Shan for all her patience and hard work and lets what the next week or so brings.....
In the meantime, ad-warp and spend freeze continues.

Good point. IronSource's own privacy policy states they collect user information 'for ironSource Mobile's own purposes', directly 'from your device through our SDK integrated by app developers in their apps' and indirectly via third-party ad networks. I saw nothing in TP's statement to indicate Timelines users were exempt from IronSource's data collection.

We have no control over, do not review, and do not assume any responsibility for, these external websites or apps or their content, policies or terms."
So the big question still unanswered is, "Is using the app which has the Offer Wall button mean that Ironsource is providing us a Service (providing a button) and therefore may "collect and process personal and other data."
Why are we still not getting a DIRECT answer to THAT question? (Kalvin's #3)
in my experience this is the work of "slot machine manufacturers" and never made a game better - rather a hint to move on and avoid too much bonding with the app/game since Developers obviously aint have better ideas anymore.
also... its very obvious that offer walls either **tsk tsk** money in different places or sell your data. And imo second one is much worse, since it allows one to crack profiles and passwords and more. The power of meta data is very frightening
Shan, DB/TP need to explain the FULL EXTENT of the recently admitted tracking and collecting, especially what appears to be data usage even when one is not using the bonus wall. The websites that make this game playable such as datacore, are down in protest. This is not going away. DB/TP can get on securing its customers, as they should have from the beginning, but it seems the current strategy is to obfuscate, and demonstrate a contempt for your players.
The ridiculous message sent in-game is beyond tone-deaf. I don't care how much consent denial you put in, the offer wall is still there. The existence of it is not only a privacy and security hazard, but the idea of it is offensive.
No matter how much data sharing restrictions are placed on those "offers" the mere act of attempting one of them automatically opens you up to a thousand different privacy violations. Every. Single. "Offer" is actually a data mining trap. Every last one. That's what you've put into your game. "Here, give up a crap ton of privacy and personally identifiable information to an unknown third party (who is likely connected to the Chinese government in some way) for a pitiful handful of dilithium that we'll throw directly at your face." That, on it's face, is disrespectful to the community and really shows the priority of the new owners of this game. If you think DB was only concerned with squeezing every last nickle out of the players, just wait till you get a load of TP.
I AM STILL NOT RENEWING MY MONTHLY CARD. I AM STILL NOT PAYING FOR ANY DEALS IN THIS GAME. I AM STILL NOT VIEWING ANY ADS. And very shortly I won't even keep the game installed on any of my devices. At this point, simply removing the offer wall may not even be enough because TP doesn't "get it" either through sheer incompetence or willful ignorance. Perhaps a combination of both. Any of which is disturbing enough.
Remember DB: Do Better? How about WRG: We Ruin Games. Fitting.

THIS is the bbbbbiiiiiiiggggg concern
"THIRD PARTY TERMS
While we may use third parties to collect and process personal and other data on our behalf and according to our instructions in the course of providing the Services, we do not actually control third-party data collection and use. You acknowledge and agree that your access to and use of the Services may be subject to terms and conditions of third parties, whether or not they are acting on our behalf or independently of the Services. These third parties include mobile device manufacturers, operating system and browser developers, social network services, analytics providers, companies delivering advertisements in or for our Services, and online and mobile network communications providers, any of whom may utilize cookies and other technologies for analytics, monitoring and other purposes, including for other products and services you may be receiving from them. Please refer to the privacy policies and terms and conditions applied by such third parties.
In addition, if you leave our websites or software applications and go to another website or software application, the third party associated with such site or app may also collect personal and other data from you.
A fleet mate just told us that a couple hours after doing an offer, where he did not provide his personal email address,
someone else in a different continent signed him up for a Spotify account with his personal email address.
There's no evidence that it was related to the offer wall other than the timing.
Still baffled this went live while the bug was still in the wild too.

also... its very obvious that offer walls either **tsk tsk** money in different places or sell your data.
Fitting.
This. All of this.
