I can access the game... ban appears to be lifted.
I am also able to log in, however, since I had a clearly stated window that told me Sunday at noon previously, I can only assume it’s a trap to catch me in another exploit. Probably not opening the game again myself until I see some form of verbal note regarding a ban lift.
The ban has been lifted and there was much rejoicing in the land yay!
If only that were true. Now we will have to endure another couple of days of people ranting because they don't like THIS solution.

This is ridiculous. If they had announced from the start that it would be a 24-hour ban instead of a 72-hour ban would people really have been ok with that? Because that’s where we are. Players accused and banned for taking advantage of WRG’s own error. An entire day of forum drama needed to get WRG’s attention. Zero apology from WRG. No assurance that they won’t arbitrarily take “disciplinary actions” in the future.
This bug RESPONSE has been WOEFULLY INADEQUATE AND INSULTING. IT WAS NOT exploited by a small number of players, AS IT WAS YOUR MISTAKE. I (the wallet) AM looking at disciplinary actions for those involved as exploits BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE goES against our terms of service.
WE WILL BE KEEPING OUR BAN ON SPENDING FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.
At this point, I am starting to hope TP continues to ignore the "outrage." I kind of feel like DB trained people to complain as loudly as possible whenever they thought they were wronged, and they would get Sorry_____s to make them happy. Now, all we seem to get in the forums are people complaining with long lists of demands. This situation is just making it worse. Feels a little like people are pissed things didn't go their way, so they are going to "storm the Capitol."
Seriously - quit or don't. But the amount of energy spent posting here complaining just tells TP and everyone else that you are so passionate about this game that you aren't going anywhere.
I’m now not outright quitting. Mainly because I have time and money “invested” and I have fleetmates who count on me.
TP/WRG has negative brand loyalty with me. Not low brand loyalty, but the reverse of brand loyalty. I may continue to be involved in some way with STT, but you couldn’t pay me to ever participate in anything else they do in the future.
Shan, mainly because of what she is sent out to put out vice any original thoughts and contributions she may have, has no further credibility with me.
My participation for the foreseeable will be limited to babysitting our training fleet with minimal supervision, and maybe an event here or there.

Probably, but after I opened the packs yesterday, I hopped onto Discord & realized this was going to be a FUBAR from what others were saying, so I didn’t touch any of the constellations. However, I had everything for Braxton on day one & opted to retrieve the 2* polestar & wait for my quantum to refill before retrieving him. Now everything has been rolled back & I have nothing, so a little anxious. But also afraid to say anything, tbh. In case I get attacked by people who think I am a cheater or that somehow WRG will ban me again

24 hour ban still ruins the current event. Resetting everything to zero still seems overkill, but that doesn’t bother me as much as kneecapping me during the current event.
I have enjoyed going the 24 hours without the game, and really have no desire to continue playing it now that I know I will be punished for a programming glitch. Maybe after the weekend I will start up again.
Right now though I feel free of not have to log back on to send shuttles or whatever boring grinder event is going on.
Even if I do jump back on I will never sent this company another dime, and hope enough people will do the same. Nor will I use this new convulsed system they have for pulling characters. I made it to level 89, and most new characters are not worth the time I’ve spent on this game. So I guess it’s goodbye for now.

My suggestion is that you contact support, and calmly state your case. Hopefully, they'll be able to give you what you had back.

Transparency would have been better. Inform the community an error was made on your end. State that those who exploited the bug created an imbalance. Say that the accounts were suspended (banned was such a poor choice of words, as Banjo pointed out) to correct the imbalance, not as a punishment. If you thought it would take 72 hours to fix, then say so. Players would have been understandably upset. But it couldn't have possibly been as bad as what actually happened and the ill will that resulted.

I write this as someone who was not banned and did not click the "Buy Again" button, but who was harmed by the unfair punishment meted out. I also write this as a person who's friends were unfairly attacked and treated as criminals.
I appreciate that bans have been lifted and a step toward restitution made. However, I am still waiting to hear TP apologize for insulting their customers instead of accepting responsibility for the company's mistake. While I will resume playing, I will do so exclusively as a F2P player unless and until TP makes a heartfelt apology for maligning their customers.
Without that apology, I will also not be updating the reviews I have left on the Play and MS Store. As much as I love this game, I cannot in good conscience allow it to be run by a company who treats their customers like this and then pretends that they didn't. Future players need to know what they're getting into.
If/when I see a positive change in TP's behavior, I will revise my reviews accordingly.
As a leader, I know that it takes a long time to build someone's trust and an instant to lose it. Once lost, it takes even longer to rebuild trust. TP broke my trust, and if they want it back, they're going to have to prove their sincerity consistently over time.
This is truly a matter of honor. I dare you to prove that you have some.
I just wanted to pop in to report that one of my long-time fleet members, one of our early players, and somebody who has really put their heart and soul into building not only our fleet but also our team spirit just messaged me to announce they are quitting over this issue. I am truly saddened by this, I understand their reasons and respect the decision, I'm just sad. Like, truly sad. I have no more words.

This is possibly the only thing I am in complete agreement with - exploiting a bug is not the same thing as an "exploit."
Well, ban length may have been a little harsh as well. But that's been rectified. So all of my possible issues have been addressed.
