The way to improve a product is to critique it. Blowing complement smoke in DBs face when they give us something stupid like Augment O'Brien isn't helping the product. I use to spend more than $500 a month before I became increasingly less satisfied. That isn't a lot of money.
You know, I don’t want to sound too snipey or give too much offense, but what world do you live in?! To mere mortals like myself, $500 is still a lot of money, especially for purely digital content. If I could randomly throw that kind of cash around I most likely would but it would still register as a lot to me.
It's half of a car payment. I don't know why you think that is an excessive amount.
For a game you hate, made by people you hate? It seems a little high to me, too, regardless of how much money one has.
Given that your new threads end up locked for trolling, and half of your comments seem to feature blue text where your venomous comments have been removed, I'm surprised you haven't been banned from the forums, but I've grown to enjoy your comments. They make me pleased that I'm not wasting my life throwing money and time at a game I cannot stand (and, tangentially, they also make me grateful for my education).
Indeed, the silver lining of this event featuring Augment O'Brien was imagining the faces of those with nothing better to do that pour scorn and hatred on what they choose to spend their own free time doing, as they read the announcement that this week's legendary would be non-canon.

That’s probably more than a car payment for most people. I can’t even imagine buying a car where the payment was $1000 a month. My mortgage payment is less than that
Traveling for 3 days next weekend. Now, instead of hoping to sqeeze out a Bashir in the few hours at the beginning or the end, I have a shot at the 130k VP threshold. Here's hoping it's Leeta and not Riker!

Now I have to know. What kind of car do you drive?
Yea this game is worth $10 a week MAX on top of the monthly card. And that's ASSUMING they give me offers I actually want. Otherwise they don't get their weekly allowance.
EDIT: Addition, really. I can't imagine comparing my budget on a mobile game to my mortgage or car payment. That makes my brain hurt. And sad.
Yeah, I blow off $150 every week at a restaurant I just haaate the food. I piss off all the other customers, tell the staff that they **tsk tsk** when they open 6 days a week and I can't eat enough food, and complain when others eat more than I do. But it's my money, I am within my rights to complain about the **tsk tsk** service day in day out!

Ha! Nailed it!
Honestly, the other day they put BAY LEAF in the 'chef's special'. BAY LEAF ISN'T TRADITIONAL! Loads of people ate it though, and I was forced to eat as much as I could, just to keep up, but I can tell you right now I wasn't happy.
So now this is an e-peen contest over how large our debts are?
Better this kind of debt, than another deep-dive down the rabbit hole of “Honor debt” and Rewards structure.
I voted for 3-day events. For this 6-day beast, I will use the free Expedition tickets and run normal Faction shuttles, then decide if the rewards make chasing rank worth the chrons in the Galaxy portion. 🖖🏻

It was either that or a newer Lambo or Audi R8 I was guessing.
Its just one event after another, with about two days to prepare for the next event. Its overwhelming. Game??? No time for the actual game, wouldn't waste resources on it anyway.
JFC, I thought the one saving grace of this event having an expedition phase would be that with 3 phases it wouldn't last very long, but they went and found a way to make it go 48h...

My mortgage is $1568. Wife’s car payment is $398. My car is paid off
Dude, where do you live, and when did you take out a loan?

LOLOLOL. Man, Silicon Valley (the TV Series) just nails it.

He is awfully hungry

Adding bay leaf makes it non-canon

I may also be drunk.
You mean like when Captain Jelicho took over and kept treating Riker?

This mode of play is forced on me by DB. Sad.
That is the best example, but there were several.
