@Shan, your statement that this is a violation of the Terms of Service is completely incorrect. There is link to the ToS at the bottom of this screen. Nowhere does it say I cannot re-push a button that is broken. It only forbids using SOFTWARE OR DEVICE exploits. The ToS provides no basis for taking disciplinary action against someone who re-pushes a button. Also, in my case, this disciplinary action also included taking away over 2K of ISM that I had built up before pushing that button. This is exactly the kind of thing that will cause you to lose my business.
UPDATE: I've been BANNED for 3 days?!? I'm a level-99 who has paid plenty of money over the years. If you rescind this, please email me directly, because otherwise I'm never coming back.
After 40 years of playing got my 1. ban. Good job. Also clean all my accounts, took all my ISM to 0. Bravo. I guess after 4+ years of playing every day I was needed break. But do not espect any more money from me. Ever. And ban yourself every time when my voyage stuck.

There's also conditions in the ToS for Arbitration. Mention that in your CS tickets - they have no actual framework for Arbitration.
GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms will be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute relating in any way to these Terms, your use of Tilting Point Services, or to any transaction with Tilting Point will be submitted to confidential and binding arbitration in New York, New York. However, if you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate any of our intellectual property or other proprietary rights in Materials and Content, we may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the State of New York. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in these courts. Any arbitration under these Terms will be conducted under the then-prevailing rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator’s award will be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action.
So now you're not only punishing players for your mistakes, but also the squad leaders that miss out on the banned players shuttles vp? Squad leader who might got nothing to do with it?
And for what? With the whole quantum refresh rate, it's not like you could easily use all those exploited goodies you get. Yes it would give some advantage where you could faster look in on a good crew, but then it takes like 3 weeks or so to reload?
3 day ban? For clicking a button that said buy again. Yep. Makes total **tsk tsk** sense. If I come back after this can I have the 800 ISM that was taken from me unnecessarily?
You are not just punishing the ‘offenders’ here. You are punishing the entire fleet. How will my fleet make its Dailies if you’ve banned half of us? What a dumb overreaction.
Bans on macro users were 8 hours. But this warrants 72?
This game is literally hanging by a thread. Many mega whales who dropped $25k+ have retired in recent months due to staleness of the game and rng mechanics. There literally has not been a new thing to play in the game in over a year, not since skirmishes. (I don't count a glorified card collecting feature as a new game mode).
but we think 72 hour bans isn't a knee jerk response here?
I heard that in the past, they banned Macro Users for 8hs only.
Users that cheated during an event.
But players that clicked on a broken pack multiple times get banned for 72hs?
I think I am goi
ng to start by contacting my credit card company and asking for a refund based upon fraud. Not receiving the items I've paid for. Anyone wish to join me?
What a load of garbage. I would've completely understood if they clawed back the bugged rewards, but banning us for 3 days *for THEIR mistake* and wiping out legitimately earned ISM/constellations/polestars is outrageous.
I really thought we were heading in a better direction with the crew retrieval - even if it was imperfect, it at least showed that they were thinking about how to improve the game and trying some new stuff. But I don't see any reason to spend another dollar if they're going to screw up and then blame their users for it. You just don't see conduct like this in any professional sphere.
How many times have we all had to push a button and nothing happened so you kept pushing it. Usually a Tribbles message would appear. It wasn't the players fault and this was as big as an exploit like the Independence Day pack that gave out all the free Dil.
Alright, so I'm never usually on here, but still. A 72-hour ban is ridiculous for "exploiting" your own error. I didn't bother checking if any in-game currency was charged because I saw "Buy Again" which is kind of like, an incentive to do it? So I have almost 2.000.000 VIP points and you're going to be like that. I just dumped another $50 on your (for once) decent dilithium offer TODAY. I have taken a step back from the game recently because I have some real life stuff going on, but now that I can actually get a few minutes to play and use this new feature, suddenly I'm gone for 3 days because of what you people did in your coding? Hard pass on that method of handling. Might have to just stop altogether, you'll lose a decent chunk of money that way. The way I see it? I'll accept the ban, but maybe put a nice refund into my account for all the money I threw at this game when it was actually fun and tolerable. Or lift the ban and I'll accept the zeroing of ISM and the loss of some polestars. Your choice.
I have quite a few friends in many fleets that are truly upset at this TP/WRG. You rolled out a new type of system and never checked for exploits or glitches? That is terrible Quality Control. You may have just buried this game because many were getting tired of the same repetitious cycle day in and day out before this new thing was brought out. The problem does not lie on the players but on you.
Also, you had a $9.99 deal a week or two ago that was a one time offer. Some bought it three or four times and you gladly took their money because the deal never disappeared. The ones who bought that deal multiple times were not banned and no money was refunded either.
TP/WRG your QC guy needs to be banned, not the player base.
Right so I was ok with taking the ism and constellations from me for YOUR ERROR!
But now you ban me from the game for this obvious ERROR YOU made?
You seriously lose yourself a bucket load of players here. Can pat yourself on the back and say we handled it right.... NOT!
This is outrageous. You can't program a game and I am blamed for playing it. Just make sure to switch the right switch next time before you release something. I haven't broken any of your TOS.
On what basis am I being banned? Be ashamed of yourself TP!
Congrats, DB. You brought the playerbase together. I was going to buy the dilithium offer, but if you’re going to ban people for your own errors, my wallet is closed.
A ban for clicking a bug is exactly the sort of thing that can sour faith and support of a product. I haven't been banned, but if this is their response, seeing other people be treated like that is probably enough to make me walk away.
I clicked "buy again" and after each of several goes, checked my credits and dilithium to see what it was costing me.
Exploit my **tsk tsk**. Y'all **tsk tsk** up. And you're doubling down on that.
I am not going spend another penny on this game until TP resolves this issue fairly. I doubt they will miss my $50 a month, but if 1000 of us stop spending? Care to join me? VIP 14, 4yrs, What for?
Due their own lack of preparedness or unwillingness to invest in properly implementing a feature, WRG cannot track where constellations and polestars come from. They likely had only 2 choices in dealing with their own bugged giveaway. Either let it all slide, or roll back accounts to a good state. They understandably opted for the second choice given the severity of this issue and potential damage to the bottom line.
BUT it turns out they can't do proper rollbacks either (no transactions to roll back or no recent / pre-event backup available), so they had to eyeball what a good account state means. Because this solution will penalize players and rob them of anything they might have gained today via other means, they had to call this a "disciplinary action" for "exploiting" a bug. This last bit is, frankly, insulting. I would've much more preferred WRG to be honest, explain the situation and the need for doing this, and apologize for their mess-up and our loss of legit currencies and inventory. But that would've been out of character for them, I needn't enumerate their long list of amateurish decisions in the past. To suspend players for this is beyond ineptitude.
Because I love Star Trek and I like collecting these cards, I have to put up with a very silly entity called WRG. But everything has a limit. My kraken-level of spending is brought to a full stop and my disenchantment with this game is nearing abandon-ship levels. And I truly regret this is happening.
[edit] The message from WRG is clear. They do not want me and other super active players and whales to play this game, so I have said my goodbyes here.

Yup. Clear case of someone in charge having an ego trip and refusing to accept the responsibility of testing their products before release.
It takes years to build up good-will with the playerbase and only a few seconds to destroy it all. And I had only just started using Adwarps again two weeks ago after I swore off giving this company any money after the offer wall fiasco. I was also considering maybe I could get monthly cards again. After that, who knows. All of that washed down the drain now.
Just checking my recent game logic if anyone wants to add to the list:
*Don't trust the posted rewards because they might be changed last minute, and rather than just owning up to a forgivable (if not understandable) mistake, the answer was 'this is a good card too' as if the art isn't the reason people play this game
*Don't hoard resources, but also here are events that you only benefit from by hoarding which then are followed by a feature that requires extensive use of that resource
*Don't open packs in the portal that say they can be opened again, because it might be a fault in the game coding that will instead be blamed on player exploitation
*Be surprised that a new feature is launched with new currency that players require to use, and then when an opportunity comes that looks legit to gain thst currency, how dare players begin to accumulate, daresay HOARD, that currency.

Yeah. Might wanna rethink that one . .

This was just a little WRG gentle persuasion to not take free stuff when “they” mess-up again
