No, Nog is a free giveaway because the new reward structure change meant he would not be earnable in an event. The mega recurring character is Minuet who will be free at 4/5 like the other mega recurring characters.
Are you planning on sitting out the following three events? She's the recurring 5* char.
Depends on the threshold rewards. If they aren't any better in the upcoming weeks, I won't play. Did the very same in the Admiral Cromwell* mega event and haven't regretted it.

Looks like Gloria and Lady Beverly will be some mix of CMD/DIP/MED, meanwhile Minuet will be a two-skiller with CMD/DIP.
Unfortunate that Minuet is 2 skill but it makes sense I suppose. I did expect her to have med though. Hopefully her bases are strong to make up for the lack of a tertiary skill.

I think they hit a home run with the art this time. Beverly, Nog and Minuet look great imo.
